NOW WITH SOLAR and BATTERY AUTO BACKUP. Nancy’s Folly is located above Rendezvous Bay on the southern shore of St John known for its gentle, continuous breezes. Take in sweeping views of numerous turquoise bays spanning Ram’s Head point on your left to St Croix with its sparkling lights directly in the distance and Boatman Point to your right. Situated in a quiet, exclusive neighborhood only 5 minutes to downtown Cruz Bay (2.25 miles), it is lush with bougainvillea and orchids. Nancy’s Folly is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the soothing sounds of the local coqui and lapping waves below.
This beautiful home has two bedrooms (one king and one queen), each with A/C, and two baths. The King Bedroom has sliding doors overlooking the bay and an ensuite bathroom featuring a large stone shower. The Queen Bedroom has a comfortable four poster bed and a large shower in the adjoining full bathroom.
The newly updated breezeway to the entry has only four steps to the pavers surrounded by glorious orchids and an organic herb garden .
The floor plan of Nancy’s Folly is all on one level, so it’s great for all ages! The Great Room and King Bedroom have smart TVs with Firesticks already loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Peacock/NBC Sports and News, Pandora Music and more. There is free WiFi, indoor and outdoor dining areas, new washer & dryer, hair dryers, beach towels, beach chairs, beach towels, courtesy snorkel equipment, various coolers and more.
Luxuriously outfitted with 100% cotton Italian bed linens, plush Turkish cotton Bath towels, hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner.
The spacious 40 foot deck with outdoor teak dining set, conversation seating and comfy lounge chairs is the perfect place to relax after a day of beach exploration or enjoying your morning coffee while watching the local bananaquits flock to the hanging sugar feeder.
There is a fully stocked kitchen with a new French door refrigerator, gas oven, microwave, toaster, convection toaster oven, blender and dual Drip/Keurig Coffee Maker.
The cistern water is triple filtered with UV light ensuring clean water at all times.
A Weber Propane grill on the garden side makes it easy to enjoy dining in-house while the dishwasher makes clean up a breeze.
Newly installed solar with batter backup and auto switching for continuous electricity service.

Elise was an amazing host! She was 5 plus. Nancy's Folky was the perfect location with all we needed for home and the beach!!! The sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking! We will be back!!!

This property was outstanding! Spacious, clean, and just breathtaking views. The big porch overlooking the water is so peaceful and relaxing. Elyse made sure we had everything we needed and even had floats and snorkels for our children. When we arrived on the island, Elyse made sure there was someone waiting for us to show us the way to the villa. 5 stars all the way for Nancy's Folly!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Jackie’s property from the planning , the journey to the island, and our mornings and evening spent at the house. We chose this property because it’s on the West side of the island and we wanted to be close to the north shore beaches & wide selection of restaurants nearby in the evenings. We also chose it because of the amazing and relaxing views (seen from the patio, kitchen, living room, AND bedroom!) of Rendezvous Bay. Jackie sent us helpful emails as we planned our trip and quickly responded when I had questions like, “Does the house have beach chairs and towels?” (Yes, the house has everything you could possibly need for a week on an island including bug spray, chairs, towels, coolers, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, spices, and vacuum to clean out our rental car at the end of the week!). She met us when we got off the ferry so we could follow her to the house. This was helpful since the roads and addresses in St. John are a bit confusing and not always clearly marked. Some driveways in St. John can be tricky to access and far from the houses but this driveway is short and very close to the property’s door so packing up our beach bags daily was a breeze. When we approached the house and saw the view of the aqua water, I almost had tears in my eyes it was so beautiful. The house is just as nice (if not nicer) than the pictures make it look. It is clean and comfortable. There is an amazing breeze when you open the patio doors and sitting on the patio is an attraction in and of itself. We enjoyed watching the boats and yachts in the bay. There are grocery stores within 10 minutes or less of the house so we stocked up on breakfast and lunch foods. Jackie had some treats and a gallon of water waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived which was great after traveling. The house has two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the room has AC which made sleeping comfortable. The shower also has an amazing view of the bay. The house is nestled in the hills of St. John. Although there are other neighbors nearby it is a private setting with enough room to spread out for a family or two couples. We talked several times about returning to the island and Jackie’s house with friends or family in the future. Here are some of the attractions we were able to see during our visit. Thank you, Jackie for sharing a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful home with us for our honeymoon!
