There were many things we liked about our stay at the “Airplane Hangar” and a few things that were negatives for us. The complex is very nice and well maintained. It has a great pool and well-equipped gym. The condo was very well supplied. The patio was a good size with comfortable chairs and loungers. There is a significant amount of noise from the planes flying in and out of Sky Harbor. There are no shades on the windows in the dining and living room, which would be nice to allow privacy in the evenings. The location of the parking spot is right next to the elevator and very convenient; however, the owner’s car in the second spot is very large, making it tricky to park a large SUV, fitting it between the large pillar and the owner’s car. We vacuumed several times. The carpeting should be cleaned or replaced. Working through VACASA also had its positives and negatives. Initially, our small requests were handled well. All communication was via text with the VACASA representative, who was always very pleasant. However, when the microwave stopped working it took over a week for it to be replaced, apparently due to poor communication between the owner and VACASA representative. Ultimately, a replacement was left outside our door.I also, had a frustrating and expensive interaction with VACASA few months before our stay, ultimately costing us an additional 3000. We will avoid properties managed by VACASA in the future.

I stayed there with my Family for over six weeks and it was marvelous! Apartment is truly spacious and beautiful. It is also having an almost direct access to the heated pool which is super convenient. The area is also super nice, full of amenities, Tempe town lake also is very impressive!

The condo was spacious and met all of our needs. The place was clean (except for the big windows facing the lake) and everything worked as expected. The communal pool and hot tub were very nice and the kids loved it (oh, so did the adults). The airplanes were a bit noisy and disturbing at times, but we were able to work our way through it. The trail around the lake was fantastic and we enjoyed it almost daily. The weather mostly cooperated with out fun efforts and that allowed us to walk to many activities and facilities (bars and restaurants). We did have a couple of incidents with boomboxes and/or wireless speakers at the pool. We were chased out of the pool area twice and off of our outdoor patio once due to people playing their music very loudly at the pool. Otherwise, all of the people we encountered were very nice. Staff at the facility were excellent and always helpful. Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable vacation.
