About this cabin rental

Experience Lake Hamilton and all it offers while staying at our cozy 600 sq. ft. cabin in a quiet area with a screened in back porch, tiered lawn with stunning lake views all year round. This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath home with a quaint living room and kitchen.

This property is located on the waters edge and has great outdoor seating areas and an outdoor fire place. This location has water year round as it is on the main channel. You can wake up, put your swimsuit on and walk out the door and you are able to swim and sunbathe off of the dock. Use of the Dock and swimming is welcome. The boat lift is no longer offered and is not allowed to be use to store boats, jet ski's, watercraft, etc.

Great for Fall/Winter time views and coffee on the porch with your significant other. Awesome night time opportunity to sit at the fire place next to the water and cook hotdogs, smore's and create memories with family and friends.

Downtown Hot Springs has shopping, spa/massage treatments, hiking trails, biking trails Oaklawn Racing and Casino and much more all available within 12 minutes. Magic Springs and Crystal Falls theme park is less than 15minutes away. Miniature Golf and gaming is within 5 minutes.

What an amazing cabin direct into the water for swimming. The river was bath temperature warm - divine! We absolutely loved staying here and extended our booking. There is a fantastic mosquito proof porch area. Great air conditioning, reliable wifi and smart tv for Netflix etc. Would not hesitate to return. One thing to be aware of though - the river is very busy with noisy jet skis and boats all day Sat Sun so don’t expect a quiet weekend of swimming and sunbathing or reading on the porch but this place was perfect in every other way. Super quiet M-F. Magic location! Great place thank you

This cabin is so perfect! The inside has the sweetest antique touches blended with modern vibes—like stepping back into a simpler time but with all the comforts you need. The screened-in front porch is everything. I could sit out there all day with my coffee, soaking in the peace. the dock—it’s the dreamiest spot for lake jumping, sunset watching, or just letting life slow down for a bit. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend and we all had so much fun! Watching the fireworks over the lake was absolutely magical. The house is cozy, cute, and comfortable. The covered porch cannot be beat and the dock made swimming a blast! We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace and cooked most of our meals in the indoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. Try McClard’s BBQ and DeLuca’s Pizza while you’re in town!

The neighborhood was nice! The house was literally within probably 15 minutes of everywhere! The house is small but decorated so cute and it was so clean! They supplied dishes and utensils, towels, and it was all very nice! The real star of the show was the view of the lake! From morning to night the views are amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! The screened in porch was so wonderful as well! Communication with the owner was great as he was very responsive and helpful!

This little house was absolutely perfect for our trip. The swimming off of the dock was a favorite with the kids I'm so glad I went with the host's suggestion to have Rocky's pizza because it was the best. Definitely don't have pizza like that in Oklahoma City. The place has to have great insulation because there was one day that we didn't even turn the air conditioners on and the highs were in the '90s. If we come back to Hot Springs we will be staying here again.

Our short 3 days stay was very relaxing! We enjoyed fishing off the dock and we did build a fire in the evening in the fireplace! The view was amazing from the screened in porch (which we loved!) and the location was great! We will be returning renters! Only issue we had was the keycode didn't work and we had to reachout to the owners. They did respond within 1 hour and came to reset it.

Great location, close to the things we wanted to do in Hot Springs. Loved relaxing on the back porch and looking over the lake. It’s an older house so it has the quirks and creaks That come with an older home. There was nowhere to eat and sit inside so we ate every meal on the back porch. It was not a problem with our weather, but I could see that potentially being uncomfortable in the middle of summer. It was perfect for our family for this vacation.

The Back Porch Cabin was a cozy and charming place with a lovely view. It was nicely appointed and comfortable. However, communication with the landlord could be improved. The shower water pressure was low and unfortunately not very warm, which was a drawback.

It was the most beautiful 5 days I’ve spent out in Arkansas! The view from the house is what makes it just so magical. There’s so much out here if you like being active or just simply enjoy the peace and quiet. I enjoyed the full kitchen and being able to cook during our stay as well. I’d be back to stay for sure!

We walked in & walked right back out! We got a hotel room in hot springs. It reminded me of a shed! It was junky & falling apart. The driveway is so steep with gravel we had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to leave! We’ve rented cabins before & this one was just horrible! We felt very uncomfortable there! We came to relax & enjoy our get away.

This little cottage/camp on the lake was exactly what our family needed! From the quaint, nostalgic decor to the beautiful lake views, we are very happy with our stay! The boys fished off the dock. The girls and I jumped right off the dock for a swim. We even lit the firepit for s'mores one evening! The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful , allowing us to have the relaxing weekend we all needed. The hosts answered any concerns we had very quickly and were very accommodating! We went to a nearby state park to rent kayaks . We would have liked to have kayaks at the camp. But the drive was only 15 min away. We reviewed other reviews and have to disagree with some,.. there was not a musky smell as some said and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals stove top. All in all, its good place to have a family gettaway. The kids are already asking us when we are going back!

We had mixed feelings on our 3 night stay here so I will leave an honest review. We feel it was a 3 star stay but wanted to leave room for grace so left 4 stars. Pros: The outside of this property is wonderful! It has beautiful peaceful lake views. The pathway down to the lake, the dock, and the fireplace is exactly what you want when you stay at a place like this. We really enjoyed our time outside! Second, thehosts are great communicators. On check-in day, we quickly noticed a glaring cleaning issue and pointed it out to the host. They responded within minutes, and corrected the problem that day while we were out. We appreciated how prompt they were in taking care of it. Third, as the pictures suggest, the cabin is decorated in a very charming cottage style we enjoyed. Now for the cons: I find it baffling that we are the only guests who have mentioned the smell inside this cabin! There was an overpowering damp, mildew smell in the cabin that we never got used to. I’m sure due to age and window units but it could and should be corrected. Second, The cleanliness of the screened in porch area was very disappointing. The furniture on the porch was dusty/dirty, we had to wipe it all down and it still felt dirty so we sat in the plastic chairs meant for outside after wiping down. The camera in the corner inside the screened-in porch is off-putting. Lastly, there were barely enough bathroom linens and we had to buy toilet paper, they left 1 roll. We won’t stay here again.

Loved this rental. Cozy for two. Aside from the highlights seen in the listing, we would add that the boat dock was excellent, well kept, and of very solid construction. We did yoga out there both mornings and sat out and listened to the lake in the late evening. The tiered yard is also a highlight. Excellent experience all around. We will rent here again.

The lake view was beautiful especially during the sunset and even while the fog covered everything, the view was something you can’t forget. The house was cozy and had a nice kitchen with the necessary appliances for making breakfast. Overall was an amazing experience and would look forward to coming back again.
