Plan your Oaklawn race weekend from a quiet Lake Hamilton cottage just minutes from the track. Spend the day at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, then come back to lake views, a full kitchen, covered parking, and a peaceful private peninsula away from the hotel corridor.
The view is the star here: Mount Riante in the distance, main-channel Lake Hamilton water, and a due-south exposure that usually brings a nice breeze. We are just outside the Hot Springs city limits, so you are close to restaurants, downtown Hot Springs, Bathhouse Row, Oaklawn, marinas, and lake activities without feeling crowded.
Summer guests can use the boat dock, with a marina a few hundred yards away for gas. Put in at Hill Wheatley Park, then hop across the main channel to the cottage dock. Covered parking is available for your vehicle or boat trailer. The driveway is steep, so boaters should launch before arriving at the cottage.
This is a good fit for Oaklawn weekends, lake trips, quiet Hot Springs getaways, and guests who want a private place to unwind after a day in town.

Property looks even better than the VRBO pictures.There are concrete steps from the dock area that go into the lake. Water is shallow enough for young children, but quickly deepens. Perfect for swimming.The bedroom is very large and could easily fit additional cribs/pack n plays.Host was very accommodating and quick to reply to messages. A great stay and a beautiful lakeside retreat.

Property was great, very relaxing. Only downside was the glass door to bedrooms needs some type of curtain installed. No sleep in due to light coming in. The only shower was super tiny but doable. Everything was provided, plenty of bedding, towels, dishes. Be prepared for the steep driveway!! loved it, would stay again.

Beautiful view. Great deck. Cabin is rustic but very homey. Needs a curtain on glass door in bedroom. We loved our time at the lake.
