This beach-themed home features strong natural lighting, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious living area with the perfect amount of space for your family and friends. Plus, the porch and balcony offer stunning marsh views. Hammocks underneath the home allow you to relax and let your cares drift away.
Inside, vaulted ceilings and windows create a bright, airy living space, while updated appliances and tasteful finishes provide all the comfort and convenience you need. The full gourmet kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, making meal prep and cleanup a breeze. Meals can be enjoyed at the indoor dining table or out on the furnished, open deck. At the end of the day, head to the screened porch and watch as the marsh comes alive with birds and wildlife as the sun sinks slowly out of sight. On cooler nights, make your way to the sitting area by the marsh and maybe roast a s'more or two over the firepit.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was perfect for our family of 4 - our teenage kids each had their own bedroom, and also plenty of common space for all of us! The kitchen was well stocked. We loved having our coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings and a cocktail at the fire pit in the evenings. The house is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, and .9 miles (20 minute) walk to center street with restaurants. We loved the walk, but if you don’t want to walk, rent a golf cart! The house was also a great base for day excursions into Charleston. We felt the listing was very accurate. Loved our stay!

Great location and property was well cared for! Last but not least, the sunset views were phenomenal!! The night skies at the beach were pristine; hadn't seen the milky way in a while!!... I might have to repeat!... experience!

We really enjoy our stay at Pelican’s Hideaway, again. We are repeat visitors and once again weren’t disappointed. You just can’t beat the beautiful view of the river and the great porches.
Can’t wait for our next stay.

The house was well priced and clean, spacious. Quick walk to beach. Temp inside the unit never went below 75 even though it was set at 72. Sleeping was rather unpleasant. Busted screen on the screened porch meant it was unusable due to bugs. Wish that Vacasa did a better job keeping up its properties.
