Amazing Country Getaway / Buckland Retreat House

This is our fourth year gathering as a family here & every year is amazing. The house and yard are so beautiful and well prepared. The owners & caretakers are very responsive. We are so grateful to visit each year!

For our family reunions we like to rent a space to just hang out together. This place was ideal for size and location. The outdoors spaces are beautiful. Couldn’t even see another home without taking a bit of a walk. Beautiful gardens and outdoor space. Barn space was as advertised. It just wasn’t very comfortable. Adults complained about the beds being too hard (inner spring mattresses with toppers). The interior seating space was sparse. Plenty of seating to eat (none cushioned), otherwise only room for 6 or 7 to gather in the living room.

We had so much fun! A great location for our family to gather. This was our third year and we love it more and more each visit. Thankful for this wonderful place to stay!

Loved the home. Plenty of room, clean. Really enjoyed the game room. It was a great plus for the kids ages 5 to 12. The adults loved the pool table ! Wonderful time all around. Great yard for the dogs......
