During the summer months, fish from your own backyard on Gold Medal waters, tour the area on mountain bike and hike the Rio Grande Trail. Make sure you add Hanging Lake to your trip’s to-do list for a beautiful turquoise lake, waterfall, and breathtaking scenery. In autumn, make time for the Maroon Bells, 25 mi up valley. We had such an incredible experience at the Aspenwood house in Glenwood Springs. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and peaceful. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the little touches that made our stay feel extra special.The layout was perfect for our group — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfy, and the outdoor space was a wonderful bonus for taking in the fresh mountain air.But what truly made this stay stand out was the host — they were amazing. Communication was clear, timely, and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and it really showed.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Glenwood Springs. Thank you for a truly memorable visit!

Overall great house set up for family and friends. Bedroom/Bathroom set up: 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2Q) w bathrooms down, MBR up. Large common areas for gathering including porch. Good kitchen supplies – pot, pans, plenty of dish ware, even had a meat thermometer! Steak knives & carving set!Plenty of outdoor games to play and the property to play. Many thoughtful touches - coffee maker in the master bedroom, lotions. Movie room was fun, too! Note that river access is a small area. Check out was easy as was check in!
