Our family (grandparents, couple, one teen) chose this delightful home for our stay. The owner was very welcoming and checked in right away. Two bathrooms, one adjacent to three bedrooms upstairs and another in the rec room, next to the Murphy bed. AC is available in all three bedrooms upstairs. Wifi was very good, and the first floor was great for cooking, eating, and socializing - doing games, watching TV (the TV is modern enough to be able to screen mirror with phones/computers). I would recommend using the garage spots for parking, as the driveway is quite sloped. The boat house is next to the lake, a short walk down a trail and across the street. All necessary equipment was provided. Kevin, the owner, has left a very helpful binder with accurate information about local restaurants, hikes, sights, and amenities. The proximity of the Big Y supermarket means that you do not need to bring foods with you. We are inclined to return and recommend this VRBO.

Easy to find, easy to access, provided instructions are great (a couple minor updates to the comprehensive instructions needed, but host responded immediately to questions). Exceptionally clean, seemingly recently renovated home, clearly loved by the family. Use of the kayaks and other amenities is a big plus - an early morning paddle on the calm lake is wonderful. If you have kids seems like a great place for rainy days with the recreation room (our kids were a bit old but would have spent all day playing pool and foosball a few years ago) We came up for tanglewood, reasonable easy to get to from here (23 minutes or so), good hiking nearby. Overall excellent. Minor downsides: if you're looking for total calm and quiet, note that the main road runs between the house and the waterfront, and there's a summer camp across the lake with loudspeakers to make announcements and trumpet in morning and bedtime. Frankly, it's kind of quaint and nostalgic if you had camp as a child. The truck traffic noise, though, is pretty steady and if you have windows open to sleep, it will wake you early. Not something the host has control over, so can't ding it and would definitely stay again for all the pros listed above, just a thing to be aware of if you're looking for pure isolation and quiet.

Property was clean and had a very nice/large kitchen. Game room was a nice touch. You do have to cross a road to get to the water but it is literally across the street.

I must say I have mixed impression from our stay in the house. The house maintenance is impeccable. Everything is updated, working, sparkling clean and has the exact amount of kitchenware, spices, etc to make a dinner. Feels good to be inside. (The grill needs to be cleaned to produce a stronger flame). We also used a canoe on the lake, and it was perfect. The description of the property slightly deviates from the actual set up, however. After reading it, it is hard to imagine a highway (rt 8) with 18-wheelers passing by at 50mph between the house and the dock every 5 minutes. At least we were not prepared for that. Probably a more accurate description would prepare us better.
