We really enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely and the views were amazing. We would definitely stay again.

This house is located at the north end of Lake Lure and was central to things we did. Got in a hike at Chimney Rock and another hike about two miles from the house. Ran over to Hendersonville to check out the town and visited Point Lookout Vineyard, then had dinner in Rutherfordton. Did not get a chance to take advantage of the Rumbling Bald club amenities, but can see how those would be very convenient. Bedrooms, master bath, and living areas are huge! View is fantastic from either level. Cooked our breakfasts and one dinner using the spacious and well stocked cabinets and drawers. Vacasa made it a very easy experience.

Very upscale home with quality furnishings - it looks just like the pictures! The two living areas allowed our group to spread out. The house was very clean. The Rumbling Bald Resort was the top selling point for this property. We hung out on the beach, rented a pontoon boat, fished in the private lake, played tennis, and ate at Legends. The golf courses looked great - will bring clubs next time. The VACASA customer interface is weak. The property description did not include nearby gas station, grocery stores, or restaurants. It took 4 tries to eventually get that information. The diswasher stopped working which I reported to the provided number. I finally received a followup call 23 hours later asking about the problem with the clothes washer. I spent 30 minutes on hold to the "help" number and finally hung up. I had a similar problem contacting a human before our stay. There is almost no information on what is available in the house which would have reduced what we had to bring such as night lights, battery lights in case of power outages, etc. There are way too many serving utensils - many duplicates - in the kitchen which made it hard to find what was needed. I doubt all these utensils and serving items are cleaned between guests. Don't let the difficulty communicating with VACASA keep you from considering this property.

    Perfect for a family vacation.

This home lives large. A huge 180 degree panorama of bald mountain and the valley below . A large great room on the main floor with amazing kitchen, dining table and lounge. A cavernous downstairs living area with two story fireplace. Best of all are the sliding glass doors on both living areas and all three bedrooms opening to the great outdoors. This home is the total cure for cabin fever. It is more like cabin utopia.

[Feedback by the wife]: For the hubby's "big round" birthday, he chose this mountaintop home with sensational views for an 11 day stay, and it was well beyond expectations. Photos do not do the views justice. The home was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The road is a mountain road, steep and twisty but drive-able. We mostly enjoyed sitting on the decks and walking the road loop, and only made three trips down the mountain - for groceries, for a side trip to Chimney Rock, and sadly to leave. Definitely his favorite mountain home to date, and I bet we return someday. Highly recommend.

Amazing views from all the decks with all the amenities and space anyone/any group could need. Access to the resort was an added plus with plenty of facilities to play and explore Lake Lure.
