The Great Escape is a three-bedroom cabin in the heart of the historic Upper Canyon neighborhood. This elegant mountain home combines lots of charm with well-appointed design features such as sleek appliances, modern furniture, and a comfortable dining set.
Outdoors, guests will find a covered front porch, a table with chairs, and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy yourself. A great corner deck offers a hot tub situated right among the pine trees.
The location of The Great Escape cabin is hard to beat, just minutes from the shopping and restaurants of Midtown Ruidoso but secluded enough and tucked away into Upper Canyon to provide privacy, peace, and quiet.
Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home. Maximum 2 vehicles.

We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable. We had all the cooking equipment we could need. Wonderful location. We would stay again. Only issue was the basement was a little chilly.

I was not happy with communication. I was concerned about the fire. I sent a message through vrbo. Never got a reaponse that wasnt auto populated from a computer. I finally called the day before. The person was friendly. But the communication wasexexistent from the app. . Mold on the ceiling. No extra blankets. The pool table is broken. Too close to the wall to play arpund the table. It was just ok.
