Location: 9/10 Cleanliness: 3/10 Amenities: 5/10When we arrived it smelled like the mop and bucket that were left out in the kitchen. Several things did not work or were broken. Lamp in bedroom was duck taped together, dishes and grill dirty dirty. Fireplace in living room, no remote no way to use it. Hot tub jets only had 1/2 the jets working. Swept up a small animal just to walk around. Day 2 the water was slow to drain in the kitchen sink, didn’t think much of it. After all, we are in a cabin in the woods. The kitchen table chairs were about to break, and the outdoor furniture was really worn. The last day the shower and sink and toilet backed up and it was just time to leave. We wanted to just get away and relax but it was not the case, so we reached out management to make them aware of the situation. They told us we should’ve called before we left. No offense we went to get away not be bothered with issue after issue and a maintenance man in the cabin. We were hoping for a reasonable outcome from the management company, so far not so good. With some updates and a good cleaning this cabin would be great. If this was a priority and not just a profit machine it would be a fantastic place to stay. Sincerely - easy going people who just wanted a nice clean cabin for the week.

We enjoyed our stay at Forest Edge. It was very clean and comfortable. The hill to get to it was very steep and a little tough to navigate. It definitely is remote.

Clean, nice cabin with large covered deck. Clean and working hot tub. Air conditioner in living room not working or outlet was the problem. Everything needed for preparing meals.

We thought the cleanliness was a little below average. Couch could use a good cleaning and perhaps might need replaced. :) It was roomy enough and a decent location to visit hocking hills. Response from host was excellent and accommodating.

The house could have been cleaner but was not horrible. For the size of the pond, maybe not advertise it. A big let down. Overall it was a relaxing stay.

Unkempt landscape. Cabin was very dirty inside and out. Gas grille was discusting and unusable. I had to move it to outher end of deck, due to it smelling ransid. Direct tv didnt work. AC unit in living area, blew breaker every time it would run. Said they had free internet. No posted password anywhere. Couldn't log on. Very disappointed.

We loved our stay at Forest Edge! We took a long weekend with our two pups to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and it was perfect for us. The cabin was super clean and very cozy! We especially loved using the covered back porch. We also really appreciated the brand new grill and the cleanliness of the hot tub. The fire pit was also great and it was nice having all the lights off and being able to enjoy the night sky. The internet wasn’t great and the DirectTV wasn’t working during our stay, but we were unbothered and enjoyed reading and watching a few nostalgic DVDs during our stay! All in all it was a great weekend to unplug and it was the perfect accommodations for our dogs.

Loved every bit of it! Very relaxing. Hot tub was great! Only thing was the ac in the living room doesn’t work. Not a huge problem bc the fans in the house was great! Also the family dog loved it as well!
