Lovely, Peaceful StayWe stayed here a week to get away from house repairs nearby. It was so good to escape to total quiet and peacefulness! The house is beautiful and spacious, with lots of natural light, and with everything we needed. The kitchen is supplied with the usual kitchen things, and basic staples in the pull-out pantry (sugar, salt, seasoning). The views are great of Bodega Bay and the ocean, and the location is close to BB. We hiked both trails down to the beach, which is fun. One trailhead is just down from the house, which makes it convenient. We mostly worked during the day, so the motorized standup desk was good to have. The owner was very communicative and prompt on the couple of questions we had when we arrived.

We were very impressed with the quick-response and clear communication with the management company. They were very pleasant to interact with.The home was very clean and the views of the bay were excellent! Since the home is on the beach, we weren’t expecting the windows to be crystal clear, but they seemed fairly dusty with smudging which detracted from the view. The bathrooms were dated but very clean. We were only staying one night, but if we had stayed longer, we could have used some more washcloths and a couple more towels.Check-in was flawless. I think some other reviews mention having a hard time getting the front door open, but they must have fixed that. The push down on the door lever was firm, but worked well.

The house was lovely and well stocked. The two main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The tiny bedroom is fine for one or two young children. Unfortunately, the two adults that slept there found it quite cramped and had no place to put their luggage. Other than that, it was quite nice and perfect for four adults and up to 4 young children.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. One thing we found problematic was the hot water temperature was too high. We all had to be careful when we showered to avoid getting scalded.In the kitchen, facing the stove, the light above the cupboards on the left was burned out. Just an FYI.

We had a three night stay in this clean comfortable home. It has a nice open living, dining and kitchen area. It has a nice view of the bay. Two bedrooms have comfortable king size beds with attached bathrooms. Both of these rooms were very quiet. The other small bedroom has a full size bed and is located by the kitchen and 1/2 bathroom so it’s not as quiet. The couple that slept in there said they could hear when water was running in the house. The room with the view of the water has a fun electronic game table. As a group of 3 senior adult couples we has a lot of fun with trivial persuit. There were a lot of other games available. The kitchen was well equipped and has a large refrigerator. Our host did a great job making sure that our stay was enjoyable. We would be happy to stay at this house again.

This is a beautifully decorated home with comfortable sleeping accommodations and living spaces. The sun room has astounding views as does the outdoor space facing the ocean. We found a buck and doe resting in the hedge area 10 feet from the window one day. We had a few rainy days and the electronic game board was well used by adults and kids. It even has puzzles along with every board game you've ever played. Appliances are large and accommodated our Thanksgiving meal preparations but small appliances are few and older so be prepared to bring your own (like a mixer, casserole and other larger serving dishes, foil or storage containers). Dinnerware was basic but plentiful, even plastic for the kids. The neighborhood is beautiful and the trail to the beach is right across the street for the adventurous. The manager was very responsive to my requests for more trash bags and paper towels but be aware no tissues are provided and the towels are pretty low quality. This in no way would stop us from staying here again.

We wanted a nice end of summer get away with my parents with our kids. The house is perfect! Two master bedrooms with full baths attached, one master room has another single bed (perfect for kids!) and a regular room across the house. The layout is open and bright with beautiful views of the ocean. The other side of the house is facing the hills and it was fun seeing the cows and deer roaming around. The house was well stocked for our dinner making every night. We have a 2 year old and the house was proofed enough for her to roam freely and play with her grandparents. We will be saving this location for future visits since it’s also super close to all the beaches we like to visit. The host Monica was really sweet and checked in once we got settled which was appreciated. Very comfortable, open and bright house.

We had a wonderful stay at Monica's house. It was perfect for our family group. The house was very clean and spacious (with a large open concept living/dining room that opens to the kitchen, plus a sunroom with additional seating and a game table) and had wonderful views of the bay. It was also close to a 0.5 mile trail to the beach (Shorttail Gulch). Finally, we loved that the two larger bedrooms were both masters with their own bathrooms. Monica was very communicative and check-in was very easy. Rules and check-out information were also clear. Just a couple minor suggestions for improvement: the mattresses in the two larger bedrooms should be replaced as they felt springy and not supportive, and it would be great if the kitchen had basics like olive oil and salt (not a big deal but we are used to hosts providing these items so didn't bring our own). All in all though, a wonderful stay. We would happily stay here again.

The listing was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. The guys had a lot of fun with the game table. Be advised that there are ants. Secure your food. I've stayed in a few coastal rentals and this tends to be an issue. I think it just comes with the territory. Not much you can do about it.

The rental property was in a great location, was very clean, and had all the amenities. The house had the fealing of a full-time rental, so if you are looking for a place with personal touches, not a house for you. Everything had labels, instructions, and warnings. We had zero issues during our stay, so we didn't need to contact the property manager. Great view from the sunroom and a quick walk to a trail leading to the ocean. The property is on the outskirts of the development, so very little cars passing by. The pictures of the house are very accurate.

An unexpected family illness meant that my husband and I stayed alone for the weekend in this beautiful home. No complaining there; if you’re looking for a single story- accessible home this is great. Beautiful views. This observation isn’t specific to this home- most rentals have lower toilets which may make it more difficult if you’re traveling with someone with mobility problems. Plenty of linens which I always appreciate. Kitchen fully stocked. Beds are firm; my husband loved the feel of the firmness while I adjusted by using more pillows. I still slept great. We also really enjoyed the infinity game table- lots of fun while looking at the gorgeous ocean! Overall a great experience

We wanted a weekend at Bodega Bay where we could celebrate my husband and best friend's 60th bdays. It was a perfect week. The house was very clean and Monica was very responsive with all communication. Mother nature was also very co-operative giving us lots of sunshine and a nice sunset! Loved this house. Thanks Monica

We really enjoyed out stay at Monica's house. We've stayed at several VRBO houses in Bodega Bay, and this house has the most remarkable ocean view by far. The rooms are warm, clean and spacious, with a super "open concept" area in the kitchen/living room space. An added bonus, for those with difficulty climbing stairs, there are no steps at all getting into the house. This was very much appreciated. Overall, highly recommended!
