About this house rental
Sunrise is located in Port Richey, Fl. in a quiet area close to shops, a mall, and restaurants overlooking the ocean where you can enjoy the beautiful Florida sunsets. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, and a kitchen with appliances. The whole house is decorated with a beach/island style so that our guests feel in a fresh and funky environment.

Oscar was a great host, however the house had several things that need attention.
First thing we noticed was the lack of dressers or bureaus in the bedrooms. It was difficult to feel at home living out of a suitcase.
The description stated sleeping for six, which is correct with three bedrooms each with a queen bed. But, other amenities were not for 6.
Dinnerware - there were 3 cereal bowls, 4 sandwich plates, 5 dinner plates, 2 glasses (there were 6 wine glasses), no teaspoons (we ended up buying 6 while at a flea market), 3 soup spoons, 5 forks. There were only 5 chairs at the dining table.
The fire pit in the backyard was a nice, but there were only 3 seats around it. There were 2 rattan chairs in the open lanai.
When we arrived the internet/TV was not working. An email to Oscar resolved the internet immediately, however it was a week before the TV was working. Superficially the home was clean, but it needs a good deep cleaning. As our guest exclaimed when they set up in their bedroom, "The ceiling fan looks like it has Spanish moss hanging from it."
The fenced in backyard was great, it offered a lot of privacy, however the fence is in need of repair, and there was a clutter of discarded building material.
The home was roomy with fairly comfortable furniture. The washer and dryer were a great asset.
The location was great. It was close to stores, restaurants, beaches and parks.
Despite all of the above, our stay was comfortable and restful.
