Lake Texoma is a 20 minute walk to the south or 10 minute walk to the west. Buncombe Creek Marina and Taylor’s View beach are a 7 minute drive.

3 bikes available for guests to enjoy. Owner accepts no liability for guests use of the aforementioned. Dogs welcome but additional fees apply.

Amazing amenities and location. Very smooth stay

We would have given this a 5, but some of the items listed were not working. The golf cart that was listed did not work and we ended up having to rent one while we were there. (One of the reasons we chose this property). To get to the beach at the lake you will need a golf cart or ATV or a long walk. The grill on the back porch did not work, which we were told it worked the last time someone was there. We finally found the bikes but no air in the tires. The paddle boat was out back but did not work. The canoe was just floating out on the pond. The 10 min walk to the lake is actually to homeowners personal docks, not lake access. Overall the house was beautiful and had everything you would need. Tons of movies and board games. The price per night would be great had everything listed was working.

Beautiful property! The tanks are such an added bonus if you want to step outside and fish without loading up for the lake. Communication was excellent. We would stay here again!

Initially, we had a little difficulty locating the key. Throughout the stay we saw saw several bugs. The golf cart wasn’t strong enough to use. The view of the tank was nice and the property was very convenient to the lake. Overall, if there was an extermination and a few repairs, this property has potential.

We loved this place . We were able to relax, much needed. My family loves to fish, so we fished everyday and caught a few. They loved the paddle boat and kayaks that were out there. We were only minutes away from the beach. Which we really enjoyed.

The Ponderosa is a great place to stay. The house and grounds are simply beautiful. This is a very comfortable and well appointed house. We had everything we could possibly need. Everyone in our group loved it, especially my pug! The owner was very nice and helpful as well. I am looking forward to going back sometime.

We enjoyed staying at the Ponderosa. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed the on property pond and back deck overlooking the grounds.

Family Time and Fishing

Family Time and Fishing

I had a fun time with my wife and two 18 year old sons. We fished the ponds, ate, played several of the board games stocked at the house, and watched movies when the wind was too strong outside. They have WIFI at the house, but I wouldn't plan on working will you're there. Tons of movies to chose from. We have Verizon and our phones worked well. The house had very clean comfortable beds, good water pressure and we didn't run out of hot water. The A/C and heater both worked great (because in the Texoma area you need both this time of year), The house is very close to the lake not far from town for supplies if needed. It's a great area to just hang out with the family and enjoy some time away from everything. The host checked in on us several times and made sure everything was going well. The golf cart was an added bonus to head down to the ponds on too. The boys had fun fishing from the paddle boat and they also had bikes if you want to take a ride. Great host and great house. Thank you for having us.
