Deer, birds and other wild life are thriving on the property for viewing enjoyment. Located close to MacKerricher State Park and the Haul Road paved trail, which provides a bike/walk path that takes you to Glass Beach, as well as the many galleries, shops, restaurants, and other attractions in the downtown area of Fort Bragg. Take a step back from busy lifestyles to enjoy the coastal spirit while staying at the North Coast Retreat. The house has a new roof with solar power for energy efficiency.

The two real selling points on this property were the closeness to the beach, only about a 10 minute walk, and the beauty of the backyard. The view through the garden to the meadow behind was magical. There were a family of deer that came every more and evening to graze. They were super fun to watch. The backyard was sunny and warm in the morning enough to sit on the picnic bench for breakfast. It was also an easy drive into town. Overall, I and my family were very satisfied with this property.

A real family getaway with EVERYTHING you could think of! We were blown away by all the comforts. We were in town between family events and this was the perfect retreat for our family of 4. Being so close to beach access was wonderful for walks and having 2 bathrooms was a godsend! We got lots of use out of the outdoor space which included a fire pit and a bbq. The hosts were ace too - responsive without being intrusive! Have already recommended to family and friends looking for an escape. Thank you, Kelly & Howard, for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental house in Cleone, California. The location was perfect—close to beautiful coastal attractions while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The owners were fantastic to work with, providing excellent communication before and throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The house was well-equipped with great amenities and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Was highly disappointed that I was not told that there was an additional house on property. Look like person was permanent resident. Felt uncomfortable. No privacy at firepit. Garbage cans were full when I arrived. Had to take trash with me.
