About this house rental
La Maison de Montagne (The Mountain House) is your desirable mountain home away from home, with the coziest of layouts, over 4,500 square feet of entertaining space, and beautiful scenery. Take a retreat to the mountains in this spectacular home and you may never want to leave.
A 3-sided fireplace warms the air between the great room and kitchen, creating both separation and a cozy ambiance. Plenty of windows let in lots of natural light and beautiful wooded and mountain views. Cooks will enjoy a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large farmers' sink, and a roomy island/bar with seating for 6, along with a sunny breakfast nook. An elegant dining area nearby will be a great gathering place for guests and home-cooked meals.
Off the kitchen is a spacious deck with seating a grilling area and plenty of nature and views. A gorgeous primary king suite is on the main level with its stone gas fireplace, upper deck access, and ensuite bath with a soaking tub and luxury touches. A queen suite is on the upper level and shares the same fantastic views.
Retreat to the lower-level family room to relax on a wrap-around sectional couch and watch movies on a large projection TV. A pool and ping pong table and wet bar make this room the place to be on game night with the family. Two bedrooms are on this level, a king suite with a fireplace and a TV, and a fantastic 4 queen bedroom with a fireplace, a TV, and a private ensuite with a jetted tub.
From here, exit to the hot tub for some star gazing and family fun. Other amenities include a washer and dryer and a 2-bay garage with parking for 4 cars total. Located on Peak 7 with easy access to town for convenience, but far enough away with all the privacy you were looking for on your mountain vacation.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services.
IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

The property is beautiful and the home is incredibly clean, Well furnished and well stocked. the property management team, Sarah, Melissa and Teresa are extremely kind And wonderful. they really made our stay above and beyond. They paid special attention to the little details and helped us to celebrate our parents 55th anniversary. There was no request too big or too small that they wouldn't assist with. The wildlife in the area is amazing and the natural forest is right Behind the house property line. You really feel privacy and serenity.

This house is just as beautiful in person as it is in pictures. We loved that most of the bedrooms had a fireplace and attached bathroom with large jet tubs. Also, really liked the shuttle but it was busy over the weekend so call early.
Be prepared to completely stock the kitchen, there was no salt or cooking oil, just garlic powder and pepper. Also, the outlets in the master bathroom and downstairs bathroom didn’t work so we had to blow dry our hair elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this beautiful mountain home in the woods for your next family/couples getaway (complete with your fur babies). We especially enjoyed dining and stargazing on the large deck overlooking the forest and hiking trail, sitting in the hot tub while it rained, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and breathing in the fresh mountain air.
In addition, the Paragon Lodging staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful with restaurant and local recommendations for pet supplies and driving services (make sure you eat at both Aurum and Rootstock).
We can't wait to book our next trip out to Breck/La Maison.
