Jaclyn was extremely helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Be sure to get some deer corn . The deer will actually come and eat from your hand.

1) When we booked the property the listing showed a hot tubas amenity. we got there and we could not find the hot tub, we looked at the listing and it still showed a hot tub. we called the owner and she stated there was no hot tub and it disappeared from the listing. 2) There is no body wash or shampoo in any bathroom 3) There was no pan or tray to bring in food from outside grill. 4) The ice maker is a portable type, could not keep up with 6 people with mild weather. We were constantly making ice, then bought a bag. They left one gallon of water to make ice, not near enough. 5) there was no can opener, so did my best McGuyver 6) there is a fire pit with a wood rack, but no wood in the rack 7) the owner pushed off the hot tub on VRBO and offered no concessions. VRBO will not give concession for listing, this is owner responsibility. 8) we left a day early and advise the owner, no offer for cancellation, it was a Sunday night. Overall the house was nice, but make sure you check amenities, bring body wash and shampoo, and ice. The owner was responsive but not helpful, she was all about the pushing it off on the maid, VRBO or someone else.

First this house is FUN to walk through 😂 we kept referring to it as a “Harry Potter” house because of the layout of the rooms! The trip did not start off too great we dealt with a roof leak HOWEVER Jacquelyn’s customer service and speediness to get it resolved was amazing! We did not fuss over it because it could happen to anyone and we worked around it! We did get to feed deer which was so much fun definitely keeping this place in mind for our next trip as it was big enough for 5 couples to have our own room!

This place was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet with lots of deer roaming around freely. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills with twists and turns. Check-in was easy and it was so easy to communicate with the hosts. We had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return again and again.

Enjoyed staying at this location. Plenty of space for our group of friends looking to float the river. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked for making our on meals. Not far from some good food locations. Close proximity to Guadalupe. We decided to float the Comal so the distance was a bit farther but not horrible. Would definitely stay here again when bringing a group that needs space.

I come Canyon Lake 3-4 times a year. We rented this house due to the ample parking for vehicles and boats and the sleeping accommodations. A friend had rented the same house the week after Memorial Day. The location is great and I will be renting again!

This house is the perfect house for a family gathering. The house has five bedrooms which was the perfect number that we needed for everyone to have their own beds. The house was very spacious and the outdoor seating areas were perfect! A balcony on the front of the house with plenty of seating, an outdoor kitchen and fire pit with great seating also. We used the grill often and the fire pit was the perfect place to gather to make s’mores. Jaclyn was wonderful and so helpful with information on floating the river and a location for a firework display. Jaclyn let us know that we could bring apples if we wished to feed the deer and my grandchildren loved this! The deer would come up and eat right out of their hands. At one time their were 11 deer in the yard wanting apples. We look forward to going back to Canyon Lake and staying at Jaclyn’s home again!

Property manager was great! She sent checking info day before and when we didn't hit traffic coming into town she let us drop our stuff off at the house so we could take the kids on the boat and not have our luggage stolen at the ramp. Will definitely be back again! 3 different boat ramp options within 5 min of the house. For fishing we went to ramp 21, ramp 22 is on the same road as the house but no dock at the ramp, it was the least crowded though and we didnt mind wading out to get on the boat, ramp23 is best fo putting your boat in with plenty of parking room for trailers. The deer visiting every morning and night were our kids favorite part!

Jaclyn was just amazing she was very patient with us about everything we asked her. She recommended where to get in the water with the kids, she recommended a restaurant to go eat and it was delicious. We were always in contact with her and she made our vacation a lot easier. The house was really nice, neat, comfortable beds, nice patio and the kids enjoyed all the deers that came to joint us.
