Looking for that comfy, home away from home type of setting? You’re at the right place! Enjoy the southern city, Birmingham, Alabama affectionately known as “Magic City”. Home to the UAB and a national leader in Green-space development. The Urban Rustic Blue Staycation has been totally renovated in the Fountain Heights Community which is making a major comeback from what was once a deteriorating mansion & traditional homes, to a modern community with access to good food & activities.
Our property is located in a neighborhood in transition. It may seem rough to some visitors. It might not be the best fit for someone expecting an upscale experience’.
The neighborhood can look a little rough to a non-local. We are in a quiet residential area north of Fountain Heights and west of downtown Birmingham. While our house has been completely renovated, not all of the houses on the block have been. If you're looking for something in the heart of Birmingham, this isn't your best bet. However, if you don’t mind taking a quick spin, then we’re your best bet! You can get to the trendy uptown district in about 10 minutes.

Guest has the luxury of using the entire space as needed. There is adequate parking space in the driveway and street parking is allowed.

Check-in is no earlier than 3PM, and check out no later than 10 AM. Please follow up with us to request & guarantee that an early check-in/check-out is available. Unapproved early or late check-in/check-out, will result in a $150
fee.
We require all guests to please remove their shoes at the door.
Prior to accepting your booking request, the name of the guests who will be at the home will be required, regardless of the time or amount. This includes children and day visitors.

Property was a ladt minute find due to the original VRBO cancelling due to pipe burst. Very quiet, homy home. Enough room for our gamily in and out for hospital visitation. Beds were super comfortable!

The area does not look desirable, but it was quite and we felt safe. The owner was nice and responsive when we had a problem getting into the internet… the house was great, felt like home and properly set to eat together as a family.. Tv in only one room and only one closet in the house for clothes… other than that, I would return to this location as it is quiet, and the house was really nice on the inside.
