About this house rental
Welcome to your home away from home. This is a freshly remodeled eclectic space with wifi at 400Mbps speeds, Roku on 2 TVs to stream your favorite content, central air, huge fenced yard with patio and grill! 2 car garage but ample parking in the driveway and street. Near DIA and the Nine Mile public transit stop with convenience stores and eatery scattered nearby. Cherry Creek State Park (trails, jet ski rentals, swim beach, shooting range & bald eagle watching) is half a mile away!

All hard surfaces on the floors, tile downstairs and in the bathrooms with luxury vinyl planking in the common spaces and bedrooms. There is a custom built wooden bar top/breakfast nook for guests to enjoy and eat at. The space has a funky diner vibe to it.

My husband and I and our five adult children had plenty of space and had a pleasant stay. Farron was always quick and helpful with his responses. Heads up to anyone with children that it is split level so there are a lot of stairs involved. Recommend!

First time using VRBO so I’m not sure what the standard is, but here are our notes:
We are a larger family (2 adults, 3 children between 6 and 17) and tend to be relatively quiet - young ones in bed by 8 and the eldest reading or knitting.
The house is a good size split-level, and a perfect size for us with a garage, kitchen, and eating area on one level; downstairs has a smaller bedroom/half bath/washer-dryer; and the upstairs has a full bath and two bedrooms.
We reserved it for 8 days for the five of us. There wasn’t enough TP left so we went to buy some from the local shop. There was a small drop coffee maker but it seemed to be missing the inner basket so it spilled water over the counter. And unfortunately there were ants I believed coming from the inside of a cabinet and leading up to the sides and top of the stove. I let the owner know and he hadn’t heard of any problems before. Again, we went to the store and purchased some cleaning items as there wasn’t any in the house to use and no offer to bring provide any.
For families: there is a trampoline in the back yard but it has a tear in the main bouncing part. As it is a desert there, the back garden/yard shouldn’t be walked on with bare feet - mostly dirt and spiky grasses and weeds. We found a small park nearby that was nice. The attached outdoor pool was oddly opened only on Mondays between noon and 6pm. There is a TV and Roku but we had to fiddle a bit and figure out which plugs went to which thing - I believe someone changed the source.
Overall it’s a good base for getting to/from the airport and chatfield for walks/SUP.
