A perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy sweeping vistas of the Oregon Coast. This home’s dramatic, 180-degree ocean view from the hills above Rockaway Beach will show you hues of blue that you’ve never seen before. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the beautiful panorama from both the upstairs Primary Bedroom and the main floor living room. Blue Horizon lets you enjoy complete tranquility while being less than a mile from town and the beach. An on-site EV charger ensures your vehicle is ready for every adventure.
Once featured in Architectural Digest, the house offers an open concept floor plan that is perfect for relaxing with family and friends. The main floor includes an efficient kitchen, a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, a dining table where every guest can enjoy gorgeous views, and a deck ideal for alfresco dining.
Blue Horizon comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The Primary Bedroom on the top floor has a king-sized bed with an en suite bathroom, deck, and cable-equipped TV. One bedroom on the lower level has a queen bed as well as a TV and DVD/VCR player, while the other has five bunks and a wall of books, toys, puzzles, and games. A bathroom with a shower is also located on the lower level.
Rockaway Beach is known for its seven-mile soft sand beach and funky shops and restaurants. You can kayak on Lake Lytle or hike nearby Neahkahnie Mountain. You may also decide to visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Cape Meares Lighthouse, Three Graces Tide Pool, Nehalem Bay, and the bohemian town of Manzanita—all just a quick car ride away. A short drive further takes you to Cannon Beach, where you will find the famous Haystack Rock, many beautiful art galleries, stylish shops, and gourmet restaurants. The two decks at Blue Horizon are the highlight of everyone’s stay. You can BBQ, sunbathe, read your new favorite book, or just visit with old friends or family. This property’s spectacular views are a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the Oregon Coast.
*Home Truths:*
- PLEASE NOTE: This home has an open concept floor plan - there is not a door on the stairs that leads to the upper floor master suite nor is there a door on the room with the bunk beds on the bottom floor (though the room is situated privately).
- If ever the electricity is out, do not use the plumbing. Doing so may cause sewer problems.
- Please be aware that both Wi-Fi and cell phone coverage on the Oregon Coast can be limited and may experience interruptions due to our geographical location.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We absolutely loved our stay in this home. The views are fantastic from all over the house; we could be inside and still enjoying beautiful views when it was cool. We had everything we needed for our adult family of 4, including very comfortable beds. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for the small things as well: salt and pepper, coffee, games, shampoo, etc. Those little things make a difference for traveling guests!

I stayed with my wife and 3 kids for a nice fall break vacation. It was a comfortable place for our small family. As you can see in the pictures of the property there are many windows everywhere on the top two floors. This made for a very scenic stay. My wife and I enjoyed many cups of coffee in the morning and glasses of wine at night while sitting on the deck which has a wonderful view of the tree filled hills and the ocean. The kids bedrooms were on the 1st floor and 3rd floor was the master bedroom. The lack of door to the 3rd floor made it less private than I would have preferred. Overall the stay was very enjoyable.

The house was clean and comfortable. Lovely decor and it had everything we needed. There was even a book with menus from all the local restaurants. We had a very restful vacation and the location of the house was so convenient for our sightseeing trips. We would recommend the food at the Beach Bite.
