About this cabin rental
This home has a large front deck and screened in patio to enjoy the views of the Mississippi. Located between the Mississippi River and Yellow River Forest state park.
Activities include fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, hunting, and enjoying the local bars and restaurants.
3 mi to Harpers Ferry, IA
15 mi to Prairie Du Chien, WI

Sleeping includes 3 bed rooms with 4 queen beds.
Bedroom 1 - queen bed
Bedroom 2 - queen bed. (Access bedroom 3 through bedroom 2)
Bedroom 3 - bunk beds with 2 queens. (This bedroom is an addition with access through bedroom 2 and outside access through screened patio)
Guest have full access to the home along with a private dock included. Slip and boat lift are currently unavailable, but boats can park along the side of the dock.
We like to give our guest their space to enjoy their time. We are always available by phone or text if anything is needed.
This property is located along the bank of the Mississippi River. The river poses safety issues and should be respected. Life jackets are required on the dock for children under the age of 13. The risks associated with the use of the dock, swimming or boating are the assumed liability of the guests. The bank of the river consists of loose rocks that will slide and should not be climbed on.
There are active railroad tracks 25’ from the home. Please stay off the tracks. If you hear a train horn, be sure to check that no kids, people, vehicles, or other items are near the tracks.
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. Please park on the gravel road as close to the building as possible to allow other vehicles to pass.
The neighboring property is currently under construction. Construction noise has not been an issue and is typically not active during the weekends or evenings. The crews will certainly respect the guest of this property.

The house was as advertised, clean, all cooking utensils, gas BBQ, everything that was needed. You couldn't ask for better hosts, the owner was on site, when he wasn't at work. They were easy to contact with a quick response. We were four fishermen with a little golf, so can't speak to a "family environment", for us it was great, trains were loud and close, but not a game changer, the weather prevented us from making use of the fishing, but we still had fun.
