Located in very quiet, peaceful community of Garden Bay. Kayak rentals available at Alpha Adventures in Madeira Park, just 15 minutes away.
Must be comfortable with dogs as we have 2 very friendly, welcoming 4 legged furry hosts
*we welcome a maximum a maximum of 2 (two) fully house-broken dog only - under 25 pounds please.
*No pets on furniture please*
This is a 3 story house. Vacation rental is on middle (main floor). Your hosts Dave and Michelle occupy upstairs. Basement/ground floor below is unoccupied/storage area..
*$50 pet fee
*Absolutely no smoking in house or on property *
We have an EV charger available for electric vehicles. $30 flat fee for overnight charging applies.
Not interested in taking the ferry and driving? Harbour Air Seaplanes have direct flights from Coal Harbour and YVR to Sechelt and Madeira Park. We offer shuttle service for up to 4 passengers.

The hosts, Dave and Michelle, are very nice and friendly people. Rooms were cozy and clean. Very nice quiet house. There is a nice and comfortable living room with two couches with an ocean view. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, spices, coffee machine, kettle, air fryer, microwave, etc. There is a smoker bbq on the deck that can be used. The hosts offer to make a meal- a menu is provided. It’s very useful on the arrival day when you had no time to do grocery shopping. And the food was hot and delicious. There is a deck with a few chairs and a table where you can have your meals. There is also a hummock hanging in the corner. It’s a very nice place to stay. We strongly recommend staying here.

Everything was wonderful at this property. Dave and Michelle were excellent hosts, so thoughtful. The place was very well appointed, clean and modern and very comfortable. Three bedrooms AND three bathrooms! The view was unbeatable. Highly recommend!! Amazing place to relax and watch the water and recharge.

This was a beautiful home with a great view of the lake. The hosts and their dogs were very friendly and a treat to deal with. We had a great time and would definitely book again.

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by one the owners who was super friendly, and it gave us all the wow factor with the views of the ocean and peacefulness. The problems we had with the property was the cleanliness of it. There was dog feces in the driveway throughout our stay as well as in the yard. The yard was not maintained and unkept looking, in which we never used it. The inside of the property was dirty according to our standards in which we spent the first hours cleaning. There was hair in the fridge, dirty floors including old nail clippings, garbage and recycling within the property which smelled. We washed all the dishes and anything we were going to use throughout the stay, including the fridge.There is no A/C in this property just some fans for each room which was pretty hot with the warm weather they were experiencing. The fan in our room was filthy so we didn't use it. As well the room we were in did not have a window, allowing for fresh air as well made us wonder is this was up to building standards for fire egress. The deck was great for sitting outside and the great area, kitchen and living room was great for sitting and chatting. Overall it was a nice property just needs a little cleaning and maintenance TLC. Would like to see a refund for the cleaning that we all had to do when we arrived.
