The May Queen Cabin sits atop 6 sloped acres of aspen & pine forest, providing views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains where each morning you see “purple mountain’s majesty" from the deck. Sunsets are spectacular year-round, and when the stars come out, with the altitude, and clear mountain air, you’ll be treated to the best stargazing you’ve ever seen. You’ll have easy access to sites like Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge, and more. A Colorado experience!

Clean and cozy. Great views and location. Communication with host was timely and informative. Kid friendly, with plenty of activities and movies for them.

This place is a gem. Nicely decorated with a lot to f historical info about mining.

You’ll travel a ways to get out there but worth the drive. It’s a beautiful area with mountains views. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Kitchen is stocked with everything you can possibly need. Comfy beds with adjoining bathrooms. Super cute! The road leading up can be rough in spots so take your time. Enjoy!
