About this apartment rental
Welcome to J & J’s Getaway! This NEWLY LISTED beautiful beachfront oasis is located at Pelican Cove in St. Croix. We encourage you to sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing ocean views and the soothing sounds of the Caribbean sea.
This is a ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that offers a beautifully updated and fully stocked kitchen, full size patio with propane grill and lovely dining and kitchen area for you to enjoy. You will also find a washer and dryer to assist you with any of your laundry needs.
The condo comes equipped with linens, beach and bath towels, beach chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear and more! We offer WIFI, Cable TV and streaming services.
The breezes here are amazing but if you choose to cool off you will find AC units located in each bedroom and the living room.
Sleep comfortably in the grand master bedroom suit with ensuite bathroom. You can lay in bed and listen to the waves or enjoy a cocktail on the patio, located right off the bedroom.
The guest bedroom also offers a queen and twin bed for extra guests.
Take a dip in the large swimming pool at Pelican Cove or spend some time with friends at the community cabana. There is also an open-air hot tub if you prefer to relax and soak. The grounds are always well-maintained and you will be sure to enjoy the lush and tropical plants growing throughout the property.
You are just a few minutes drive from Christiansted and there are several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. If you enjoy diving, you are not far from Cane Bay Beach. You and a buddy can dive “The Wall” and then grab lunch at a variety of restaurants along the North Shore. There are amazing kayak tours located at Salt River Bay, just a short drive from the unit. There is also horseback riding tours on the beach during the day or at sunset. The options are endless!
If you feel like staying in and not driving anywhere, The Palms Resort is located next door and offers a great bar and restaurant on the beach. You can walk there within 5 minutes and be back to the condo in no time.
Pelican Cove is a gated community and there is always an on-site manager who is willing to assist you if needed.

When it comes to toiletries we provide items like hand soap, a bath soap bar, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels and 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom. Please keep in mind, this is to get you started and will be available once you arrive. If additional items are needed during your stay, please purchase on your own as necessary.

Also, please note, this is a NON-SMOKING UNIT. This property has a strict no smoking policy for renters. There is no smoking allowed in the unit, on the gallery or anywhere near the buildings. There is a designated smoking area by the main entrance to Pelican Cove and will have a picnic table, umbrella, and butt buckets.
Lastly, we HIGHLY recommend you reserve and rent a car while visiting St. Croix. There really is not many sidewalks or shoulder space in general on the roads. Many times you must reserve the car well in advance so please make sure you leave plenty of time before your arrival to rent the vehicle. We do have a GREAT recommendation for a car rental. A locally owned and operated business, Judi of Croix, is able to assist you in your rental car needs.

Condo was great. Nice views, quiet area. Central to most of island. Everything was just what we wanted for a relaxing 7 day vacation.

Condo was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was urine on the seat in the first bathroom. The master bathroom toilet had been used and not flushed. There was less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for us and we couldn’t find any more. There were used bars of soap in each shower with hair all over them. The kitchen was fully stocked which was convenient as we cooked all our meals there. We enjoyed being able to use the beach towels and chairs.

This turned out to be one of my best vacations ever. Brooke and her team were very responsive whenever contacted. The view was breathtaking, the moon would break over the palm trees around dusk. Everyone was very friendly and the inside tips on where to eat were priceless. I am definitely planning on returning for Christmas next year and may stay through the new year! Best customer service ever!
