The Signature Home on Wood Creek Lake was built for the kind of trip your family still talks about years later. At 4,200 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths, there's room to spread out — and enough shared space to actually be together. Up to 18 guests sleep comfortably, from grandparents in the no-stairs king suite to cousins piling into the dedicated kids room.
THE LAKE EXPERIENCE
Wood Creek Lake is 625 acres of calm, clean water — no jet skis, no chaos. Just swimming, fishing, and the kind of quiet that's hard to find. The bass fishing here is legendary (home of Kentucky's 2nd largest largemouth on record). The private dock is yours for the weekend — cast a line, jump in, or just sit and watch the water change color at sunset. Kayak and pontoon rentals are available nearby through Fun On Cumberland, delivered right to the property.
THE HOME
The kitchen is the heart of this house — a massive island that seats 6, full professional appliances, and enough counter space for multiple cooks working at once. Large families don't fight over counter space here. They fight over who made the better brisket.
Two primary king suites offer privacy for adults. The first-floor suite is perfect for guests who prefer no stairs; the upstairs suite has its own ensuite and a daybed. Three additional queen rooms and the kids room (four twin beds with trundles) round out the sleeping arrangements.
Multiple living spaces mean teenagers can disappear into one area while the adults claim another — and everyone reconvenes at the oversized dining table for meals.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The multi-level decking wraps the back of the home with sweeping lake views from every angle. Two firepits — propane for easy evening fires and a wood-burning pit for the full campfire experience — give you options for cool fall nights. The lakeside summer shed is where lunch becomes dinner: grill, gather, and watch the kids wear themselves out in the water ten feet away. A built-in pizza oven makes cozy group dinners easy — perfect for a chilly fall evening in.

This lakehouse was everything we hoped for and more. It was incredibly well-stocked—from plenty of fresh towels to a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking together easy and enjoyable. You can tell the hosts really thought through every detail.The property itself was perfect for both fun and relaxation. We loved having access to the lake during the day and winding down by the bonfire in the evenings—it created such a cozy, memorable atmosphere. The games provided were a great bonus and gave us lots of laughs.One of the standout features for our group was the two primary suites, which made sharing the space comfortable and convenient for everyone.This trip was especially meaningful for us—five high school friends celebrating 50 years of friendship—and this home provided the perfect setting. We had such a fun, restful, and joy-filled time together.Highly recommend this lakehouse—we would absolutely come back!

Great place! Would highly recommend. Everything was perfect with our stay. Loved how clean the place was. Also the pizza oven was a huge hit with the kids and adults. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!

We had three generations here for a week. Everyone had a great time and truly loved the space. The circle road was handy for putting our kayak in the water, but other that that we used the stairs to the water and found them quite manageable. The house was well stocked - one of the best we’ve rented. Dual AC was extremely nice! A short drive to the grocery which left more time for enjoying the water! Will definitely return!
