Boasting all of the classic charm of a 1930s Cape-style home, this quaint and quiet, two-story escape will be just the place to take a breather and get away from it all while still being mere minutes from the heart of Boothbay Harbor. This home is surrounded by lush greenery, local wildlife, and salty air. The large deck boasts ample seating for everyone to enjoy! As soon as you make your way inside, you will be welcomed by an abundance of natural light through numerous windows, white paint and light wood accents, and comfortable furnishings to kick back and gather with loved ones after a full day of adventure. Not to mention, the full kitchen is equipped with all of the major appliances and cookware needed to whip up tasty meals. Additionally, there's a private office space off the kitchen that can accommodate two workstations.

Quiet but convenient location, spacious and comfortable home, hated to leave! Great master bedroom and bath. We did not use the upstairs but it is cute- it is true the stairs are not for anyone mobility-challenged. New laundry set is great. New sofa is good too. Deck and yard are lovely and filled with beautiful landscaping. The views are fabulous- we could see sunrise over Barrett Park, which is lovely, from the front door and sunset from the deck, and walked to town every day as well as dinner at the Whale’s Tail nearby. As hoped for, we did not use our car for three whole days except for a short drive around Southport to Hendricks beach and town landing. . We met locals at a library program and while viewing the comet from the fishermen's memorial park. The mailboat run was a fun little cruise.

Looking to soak in all we could of Fall vibes in BBH, we were drawn to this property based on the back deck photos. Grilling and dining al fresco with falling leaves and acorns all around was wonderful! The fire pit outside and fireplace inside were highlights for the chilly nights. The lack of air conditioning was not a problem for us in September, but if we ever stayed in the summer it might be an issue. Please do be very careful with the narrow staircase treads- the climb to the upstair bedrooms had our full attention every time.
We appreciated the minimalist furnishings in blue and white - which allowed us to display our flower arrangements and natural treasures on the mantle during our stay. The location was perfect for walking to town, walking to the Boothbay Region Land Trust hiking trails, walking to the boats, walking to lobster rolls - the neighborhood is quaint and filled with squirrels, chipmunks, birds, crickets. We love the area and will definitely be back next year.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking bay views, especially enjoyed from the skylight above the bed at night. It created a truly unique and romantic atmosphere.
While the accommodations were very comfortable and well-equipped for the price point, there were a few minor details that could be improved. Having a set of matching drinking glasses would have been convenient, and an information booklet outlining trash disposal procedures, Wi-Fi access details, and local recommendations would have been helpful for navigating the area.
Despite these minor suggestions, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others seeking a relaxing getaway with magnificent views. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Maine!
