About this house rental
Located in the beautiful and prestigious Yacht Club neighborhood, this recently renovated home puts you right in the heart of Cape Coral. This area is highly sought-after because it's so close to everything, but also private and relaxing. This newly updated house is one of the original 8 houses in the historic district of Cape Coral, so it has an amazing history.
Enjoy your coffee, or a glass of wine, from the front or back screened porch. Relax in the hammock in the private backyard. Take a 12 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) to reach the Cape Coral Yacht Club Beach. Located directly on the Caloosahatchee River, the park has everything for you to enjoy an afternoon of swimming and beachside relaxing. The restaurant Tiki Bar & Grill is open 365 days a year and located right on the Yacht Club Beach. They have live music every night. Often, we see dolphins swimming and playing in the area.
The Space -
Sleeping up to 6 people, this home has a beautifully decorated family room with a large, comfortable sectional in the great room. A door leads to the private screened porch. Just off to the side of the great room is a recently renovated kitchen - fully equipped with glasses, dishes, silverware, and cookware for whatever culinary creations you have in mind. Dine on the inside dining table (seating up to 6), pull up a barstool, or have a bite to eat on the table on the back porch. A Keurig, regular coffeemaker, and french press are provided as well. This house is a single story with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1: (sleeps up to 2) Queen bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom 2: (sleeps up to 2) Queen bed, and located near a hallway bathroom with bathtub/shower combination.
Bedroom 3: (sleeps up to 2) Two Twin beds, and located near a hallway bathroom with bathtub/shower combination.
There is a laundry room that contains a full-sized washer and dryer. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are located in both showers. There is a 1-car garage and additional deep sink in the laundry room.
High-speed wireless Internet is available throughout the house (WiFi password will be provided). The master bedroom, as well as the family room, is equipped with a SmartTV that connects to streaming services. The house also has a firepit in the back yard.
We have a variety of board games, cards, and books. You'll also find beach towels, beach chairs and toys for a relaxing, fun day at the beach.

The house was very nice and comfortable. The walk to the beach was about 1/2 mile away. There was a lot of places to walk.

Wonderful location and very clean unit. Beds were firm, perhaps a matress cover would help. Bath mats on floors would be a nice addition as well. Unit well stocked in the kitchen for meal prep. Thank you!

Overall, the property was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. It was a short drive into FMB which was nice. The beach was great over the holiday weekend. The family also enjoyed the Sun Splash Waterpark in Cape Coral.

This house has everything for a family vacation. We are a family of 6 so finding a place to stay that accommodates us is not always easy. This was our best vacation rental ever. It comfortably sleeps 6 between the three rooms. We didn't have to use air mattresses and were able to separate our older kids from the younger ones. There is plenty of room to spread out and a full kitchen with anything you need, including coffee and a dishwasher. Screened porches in the front and back so you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee outside. We even roasted marshmallows at night with the fire table in the backyard. Beach towels, chairs and toys were all available in the house as well.
The yacht club is about an 8 - 10 minute walk away. There is a public beach, fishing pier and restaurant/bar all open to the public. There is an outdoor swimming pool as well but we did not use it because the beach was great. It's on the intercostal waterway so the surf is pretty calm and the water does not get real deep. I would describe the beach as perfect for anyone with younger kids that doesn't want to worry about riptides or heavy surf. It was spring break during our stay and many families were at the beach as well but it was not over crowded.
Overall we had a fantastic experience. The owners were easy to work with. Getting in and out of the house was a breeze. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in SW Florida.
