About this house rental
This three bedrooms two and a half bath home is located in a charming and quite neighborhood, The house is close to Facebook HQ and Stanford University as well as a local market, bakery, Starbucks, Brewery, and an excellent Mexican Restaurant in a walking distance.
The house has been completely redesigned, rebuilt and includes a new second floor addition, a large new BELGARD European cobblestone driveway, as well as much admired "Story Book" front garden that welcomes you upon arrival.
The space
From the outset we wanted to create a place of serenity where guests could enjoy a complete rest.
in order to carry out that goal we designed this modest interpretation o the Greek islands Architecture.
The Greek islands provide for people from all over the world a place for complete rejuvenation. Travelers attain that deep relaxation by learning to surrender to the islands simple but striking beauty.
We designed the first floor as an indoor patio around a cactus and orchid garden. the garden / solarium is actually the living room. The open dining room has a view of the indoor garden and both are next to the open Gourmet kitchen that is also connected to a private deck and garden.
Half a level up is the Master Bedroom with a King size bed that leads to an extra large walk in shower room with a large upper sky window.
In few further up stairs there is another sleeping area, separated by a door with two more bedroom, one o them with another King size bed. The two King size beds enjoy Italian tailored Hotel, Satin stitched bedding collection purchased from "Restoration Hardware".
The upper bedrooms lead to a large second floor deck with a covered sitting area and a roof garden. Throughout the house there is a new Traver tine stone floor as well as a new drywall, plumbing, electrical and roofing. Most rooms enjoy a vaulted / coffer ceilings
All three bedrooms have HVAC. Laundry is by the kitchen.
Original paintings with a Greek island Motif done by Amnon are displayed throughout the house. Enhanced house cleaning process is done. All surfaces are disinfected and sanitized..

We had a lovely four week stay at Amnon's house. This house shows how a talented architect can elevate a modest suburban dwelling into a something exceptional.
The open-plan ground floor is flooded with light from windows & skylights. Amnon keeps a wonderful selection of plants inside and out, providing a constant connection to nature. The outlook is completely private, and the interior décor is tasteful and calming. The ground floor heating takes a few hours to warm up from cold, but it's then easy to maintain temperature. There's a small smart TV, although the location makes watching from the sitting area tricky.
The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with two basins and big shower. On the upper floor, there's a spacious bedroom with large south-facing windows and balcony, and one smaller bedroom, plus shared bathroom. The layout and use of space is excellent.
The property is the main unit of three. This unit benefits from the main front door and use of the driveway. There is a bit of noise transfer on occasion, but clever design maximises privacy.
Amnon welcomed us and was happy to help with anything throughout. He tolerated our noisy young children and associated clutter, and helped us with late checkout on our last day as we had an evening flight.
The neighbourhood is safe & quiet, yet very convenient for 101. We walked around and met friendly neighbours. We loved our stay in this well executed and cared for property. Thank you Amnon, we hope to return!

The lighting and the privacy were amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful. Like a sanctuary in the back yard--very peaceful.
