South Kensington 2 bedroom penthouse with lush roof top garden

Pictures matched reality! Close to restaurants and food mart. Reminder it’s on 4th floor- steps!! Met onsite with manager- explained all the items to work!

The location of this stay was perfect, south Kensington, we felt very secure. it was easy to navigate using the rail system. The home had everything and the outside roof top was just what we needed on the end of our vacation. Giuseppe provided us with some restaurant recommendation which were delightful, we went to the Spanish restaurant twice, delicious. Recommendation would be to provide a guide book about the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Giuseppe’s apartment. The flat is lovely. It had everything we could possibly need. The rooftop patio was such a plus! Admittedly, the stair climb is challenging after a long day of site seeing but is a real pleasure once inside. Additionally, Giuseppe was available for any issue that popped up. Another plus is that the location of the property is close to many excellent restaurants and coffee bars. We truly enjoyed our stay!

My family of 4 rented this flat for our recent stay in London. I truly hate to leave any negative reviews, as I want to support people's business. I also feel that it would be helpful to others and hopefully the property owners so they can improve for future guests. The check in process was a bit odd, as we had to pick up the keys a ways down the road at a convenience store. There was no one to show us around the apartment. Also no information provided about how to use the flat, WiFi, etc. Upon entering the unit, the carpeting and walls were very dirty, many large stains on the carpet and numerous scratches along the walls. It just gave us the feeling that the owners didn't care about their renter's experience. There were wet towels strewn across drying racks in the living room and we only had 1 dry bath towel between the 4 of us. Also, when towels are air dried, they are very crunchy and not soft. The owner was cordial and apologetic and sent the housekeeper the following day to "bring fresh towels", however she simply rolled up the towels from the racks and left them on the dining table. The apartment is sparsely furnished as if some things were removed and not replaced. The bed sheets were thin and the mattresses seemed old, springy and not very comfortable. There was quite a lot of wear and tear that could easily be spruced up to make guests feel that they were valued. On a positive note, the unit is in a lovely neighborhood walkable to many restaurants and pubs!!
