Breakfast is amazing, the room was spacious enough and good for what we needed after landing in San Jose and leaving for La Fortuna a day after. Staff is super nice, very welcoming and accommodating. Great value for money!
The rooms and some parts of it (e.g. windows) are a bit old, but nothing major.

Overall it was a very cute place and well-decorated. Kurt welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. Breakfast was delicious (especially the bread!) and we quite enjoyed the location as well.

Staff were lovely, and the hotel had a great ambiance, with a courtyard and fountain. The breakfast was good, with a lot of personalization for everyone's individual order.
The beds aren't particularly comfortable and the rooms are very basic. We booked an airport shuttle and exchanged some messages about it with the manager, but somehow it got forgotten, though the staff were otherwise great.

Can I just straight away give a 20 on 10 please! Kurt and his team are the BEST HOSTs I have interacted recently. I am travelling a lot these days, and meeting great and friendly hosts is a very very rare thing... (these days). They helped me on numerous things, going out of the way.. which I cant (and wont) mention here. All I can say is a big THANK YOU... and like these human beings, the property was fantastic and cozy too.. go for it, if you are reading this review, you wont regret.
