This is a Fairfield Inn - and is what you should expect based in that. The staff were helpful and friendly. Nice pool area - not very big but also not real busy.
The breakfast was a disappointment - pre-made breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and some fruit are you choices. Limited creamer options. Not a big deal, but would be disappointing even for a roadside motel.
Marathon is the best lactation to explore all the Keys. Only 1 1/2 hours to Key West and about 1 hour to Key Largo. Best food (Key Lime Pie) among all the Islands is right across the road at the Island Fish Co.
Can’t beat the price - so the breakfast is sort of nit-picky.

While we weren’t aware that this was a hotel versus a resort, we were still happy with the facility. Free breakfast was an awesome surprise!
