This large house was perfect for our family. It is an older house and dated in many ways. But it was very clean, the furnishings were comfortable, and the beds and linens were fresh and comfortable. We loved the three separate sitting areas, the dock on the lake, and the very nice rental bikes. This is a fabulous location in a historic beach town, and we loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

We were VERY skeptical with no reviews….but WE FELL IN LOVE with this property! The pictures just don’t do this house justice! The location has a view that is so serene. It made for an absolutely wonderful stay. This home has the most unbelievable western lake views with reeds swaying in the breeze along the waterline, and the dock was a quiet place to sit or a lively place to all hangout. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, decorated with a comfortable, bohemian beach vibes. 6+ bedrooms! All so comfortable and appointed with tranquil beach themes -- soft colors, subtle touches. Every member of your group is sure to find their favorite spot. This house is the perfect space for a large family or group. So much space to spread out, yet so many great areas to all gather. The large sunroom overlooking the water was ended up being our favorite place. We all sat and talked for HOURS! We cooked so many meals in the quant kitchen which allowed everyone to gather and hang out. It rained a few days but that turned out to be so serene. It’s the perfect rainy day getaway! Overall, was a weekend that we will never forget! It’s the perfect spot in Grayton. You’re steps from the beach, Red Bar and Chiringo. This beach is TOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! But this house fully added to our sense of being treated special at a special time. I would and will come back to 12 Garfield again and again. Vickie Vedder
