Great place to walk the neighborhood and paths. Enjoy parks, restaurants, movie theatre, Erx snowmobile races.

Overall a great venue. Quiet except for the large barking dog upstairs occasionally. The amenities could use an update. This was supposed to sleep 4 but there was only one hand towel and 2 wash cloths. There were 8 towels that appeared to come from the owner's house after years of use (threadbare). There were only 3 coffee cups and mismatched glasses (4) and silverware. There was 1 kitchen towel. The entry carpet was thin and curled up on the corner creating a safety hazard. Nothing to light the bbq with. Garbage can lid doesn't close unless you put something heavy on it to hold it down. The pool table was fun to use and the tv and theatre seating was nice. Enjoyed watching the geese and deer.

The Elk River Escape was an awesome place for my wife and I to get away and celebrate our anniversary!
It is a beautiful area around the house and plenty of nature to enjoy. Had some nice walks when the weather was accommodating, and when it was too hot or raining, the flat screen TV with the movie theater recliners were top-notch! We also loved the beautiful pool table, Keurig, roomy shower and all the other amenities the place had to offer. We were a little sad to leave but that is always a sure sign of a great stay!
