We have family in the north suburbs of Minneapolis, so this was a good location for us. We appreciated the large space and used all four bedrooms. Overall, it served us well. The various remodelings, however, are obviously DIY projects and not well done. The bathroom counter was not solidly attached to the wall, and we were nervous about even leaning on it. A curtain rod pulled out while we were there—the bracket was screwed directly into the drywall without any kind of anchor. Etc., etc. throughout the house. None of this really affected our trip, but it made the house less desirable to stay in than it otherwise would have been.

The location of the home was very convenient (right across the street from family we were visiting).Accommodations were sufficient. The owner gave us a personal tour of the home.If ever in the area again, will consider this home for rental.There were a few things that needed attention. The sink stopper for the kitchen sink was broken ( we replaced it). The kitchen garbage can needed to be bigger, constantly emptying can. Would've been nice to have some outdoor furniture on the deck.The owner did tell us if we had any problems to contact him, but we felt like these weren't major enough to bother him with, but I feel he would have addressed them if he was informed. We just want to inform him of these issues for future rentals. Small issues, but would make a world of difference.

For the price, our stay was very good. The property was quite large in a beautiful area and very comfortable.
The upstairs did have a bit of a smell, and the couch was damaged before we arrived. Despite this, the property manager was incredibly helpful and very responsive, especially on a weekend.
I would stay in this place again, I would just recommend purchasing a candle to mask the smell while you stay there.
