Just 11 miles from the New River Gorge National Park, our cabin is located on a private 400 acre mountaintop farm with wildlife galore and amazing sunsets. DISCLAIMER #1: The property is accessible by almost any vehicle most of the time, though 4x4 is recommended for inclement weather, specifically snow.
DISCLAIMER #2: There is a main house on the property that we stay in, and when we are not here, it is also rented out for short terms. Is is 1200ft before the cabin (3.5 football fields) and it is separated by woods. You cannot see one from the other.

The cabin was just what my husband & I were looking for. There were no neighbors, no sounds of people or traffic and no city lights. Just the sounds of nature and the light from the moon & stars. We enjoyed walking around the many trails, the pond & the beautiful scenery. One morning we saw a deer feeding her newborn fawn. We enjoyed coffee & breakfast on the screened in deck. There was plenty of room for our dog to run freely. It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. If you’re looking for a place closer to town or food, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of life, then you will love this place! The road up the mountain to the cabin was narrow & curvy and took about 30 minutes. We personally enjoyed the beautiful drive but others might not. There is a gate to get to the property which we knew nothing about & it required a code to open. We called the host & he quickly gave us the needed information. We truly enjoyed our stay & hated to leave the peace & quiet!

Great place to stay to enjoy nature. Great views and the guest cabin was perfect in size. Wish I had stayed longer.
The only and I mean only negative is that the mandatory damage waiver didn't appear until you started the booking process.
I understand why the host's require it!
