This awesome property is on the bottom level of a beautiful 3 story cabin just steps away from Lake Lure! The rental is very clean and spacious. The owners were very welcoming and provided us with restaurant and hiking ideas. We had access to the many outdoor spaces and enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning!

The unit is just as described. Mara was great, from booking to checkout. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. The views are just what you would want for a lakehouse vacation.

My husband and I had a very relaxing time. We did enjoy ourselves! The apartment is just the right size. However the pictures online are a little misleading. The boathouse on the lake with dockside chairs were nothing like in the pictures. The furniture on the dock/pier was not clean or organized at all. Also there are several stairs to climb to the bungalow/apartment. So if you have back or knee pain/issues you may need to look elsewhere. This was my fault but I was not aware the bungalow was attached to the owners main house. Other than the abundance of stairs and unorganized pier/deck, and attached main house we had a nice time.
