Hotel Grand Canyon du Verdon

Uitzonderlijke gelegen boven de Gorge de Verdon, met een een fantastisch uitzicht. Vooral ook het ontbijt en het diner vanop het terras met spectaculaire vergezichten zijn heel bijzonder. De bediening is super vriendelijk.

De kamers zijn zeer eenvoudig en schoon, maar de algemene netheid van de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en het balkon kon beter.

The location is fantastic. We paid extra for a balcony room overlooking the river & gorge - would totally recommend doing this because these rooms benefit from a small balcony that leads onto a private terrace with sun loungers which is only shared with a few rooms - fantastic views. The room was bright, clean and big enough with a good walk in shower in the bathroom. We had a good meal in the restaurant served on the balcony on the edge of the gorge.

The only small criticism is that the breakfast could be a big more generous for 15 euros [and there is nowhere nearby to go instead!] - unlimited bread but only 1 croissant - usual choice of eggs, cheese and ham etc.
