We had a nice stay at this house. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Nice neighborhood location and the deck was lovely to hang out on. The clothes dryer unfortunately was not working so was problematic to dry all our wet clothes and towels which was disappointing. The master bathroom pocket door keeps coming off its track and could use some repair. The bathrooms are nicely updated. Could have used more than one towel per person as we only had one each for showers and hot tub and we didn’t realize the rec pool didn’t supply towels either. Overall a lovely stay but could use a little maintenance and more sets of towels.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a very quiet neighborhood. I particularly loved being able to see the starry night sky and early-morning wildlife while lying in bed. Very well equipped kitchen with a filtered-water tap and abundant supplies of everything (except light bulbs). Put a Sea Ranch visitor pass on your dash and take Vantage Rd for easy coastal trail access. Only 4 miles to Gualala restaurants, groceries, and kayaking.

Nice, quiet quintessential Sea Ranch home with lovely view and huge hot tub. Lots of room to spread out. Convenient location near Shell Beach and trails. Super friendly and responsive host. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck with expansive views and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. We hope to stay again in the future! This was such a wonderful little get-away! The house is wonderful... clean, accessible, easy to find, private etc! It's 6 minutes away from town and about 3 minutes from the beach access location. If you want, you can take a walk to the Sea Ranch Chapel or drive there in 2 minutes. The hot tub was perfect. If you are looking for a place to relax and put away the stressors of every day life, this is your place!

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed... the perfect stay for the four of us. We also enjoyed seeing the deers, rabbits, and turkeys around the house. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here for my birthday weekend. We love the sunny deck with beautiful ocean views, the long hiking trail along the coast, the beautiful bathtub in the master suite, and the hot tub under the stars. Pure bliss.

We booked this property for a mini writing retreat and it was the perfect atmosphere! It has gorgeous views of the water and forest from most parts of the house. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and we really loved looking at the stars with a glass of wine from the the hot tubs.the walk to shell beach is lovely. We would definitely come back!

House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend.

This home was very well equipped with all the necessities and more. Everything was very well organized. We were there during warm coastal weather and because there is not a screen on the slider door made it difficult to leave the door open for cross ventilation fearing our dog might run out if we didn’t have a leash on her. In the late afternoon & evening we enjoyed the fresh air once we had some shade. All in all we enjoyed our tranquil stay very much and appreciate how well the owners have shared their lovely vacation home. This was our seventh year with our dog at Sea Ranch. Love it.

Excellent accommodations! Beautiful clean home with a wonderful hot tub for watching the night sky. Short drive to Gualala to pick up essentials. Nice walk from the house down to Shell Beach and to check out the Sea Ranch chapel. Private driveway with neighbors not too close on either side.

One of the benefits of renting a property from the owner is that you contact them if there is a problem. Candidly there was a hiccup when we arrived in that they had beeen let down by their cleaners and the house was dirty from the previous guests so dirty sheets, towels and general dirt. We called the owner who was so apologetic. There were clean towels and sheets in a cupboard and all the cleaning things you might need so we sorted what we needed to. We agreed a time for the cleaners to come the next day whilst we were out enjoying the wonderful coastal walks and returned to a spotless property. The owner also credited that first night and cleaning fee which we felt was more than fair. Everything is as listed and I hope this gives comfort that this great property is mated by some people ho do want you to have the best stay possible and react promptly and fairly to any issues. Beautiful and very comfortable accommodations with everything you need. We enjoyed a week here and the location was perfect- about the middle of Sea Ranch- for easy walking and driving access to the coastal trail and beaches and to nearby towns for food and groceries. The night sky is absolutely incredible and we marveled at the stars and Milky Way while enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub. Peaceful and stunning. Would love to book again!

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect house, just the right size for a couple or two and a few minutes from beaches, Sea Ranch Lodge, and Gualala. The view of the night sky from the deck when the weather is clear is absolutely sublime. 100% would recommend.

Great value. The views up and down the coast are amazing. Not a huge space, nor fancy, but it is perfect for what it is. The primary bedroom is very nice, but I chose to sleep in the loft. For the view. If I am back in the area I will definately try for this rental first.

Everything about this host, the reservation, the rental, and the stay overall was exceptional. The reservation process was smooth, and front door access with the lockbox worked perfectly (that's not always the case, as renters know). The house was a home - very well equipped with wood for the stove, kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, a tissues box in every room (my fave extra), TV with streaming services, Wi-Fi, games and books and puzzles, and more. The hot tub out on the deck and the ocean view were wonderful. Added note: we lost power for two days during the Jan/Feb storms, and Marissa was excellent about checking in with us to ensure we were ok. All in all, a wonderful 2-week stay.

Our Stay at Sea Ranch is always a wonderful experience.We have been vacationing at Sea Ranch for over 20 years now. This particular home is wonderful, but the master bedroom is in need of a new bed, TV needs to be updated as far as local channels and such. We really don't mind staying in pet friendly homes we have a Goldie girl ourselves, but the carpets are in need of some desperate attention. Also, If I pay for a housekeeper, I feel that I deserve a very clean place upon arrival. As that is my profession as well,' I shouldn't have to see any left over pet hair or dust through out. It was a beautiful weekend for us anyway. Thank You

The weather was perfect, the home well stocked for all cooking needs, the house was very clean, the hot tub was a real treat! Easy walking to the sea shore and surrounding trails. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year. The only down side was that the bed was uncomfortable for me.
