Completely renovated from top to bottom in 2021, this cozy cottage is the ideal peaceful Irish retreat. The land has been in our family for generations, & now we are pleased to share this rural getaway with you. Breathtaking views of the countryside, & surrounding stone outbuildings make this a picture-perfect throwback to country living.

The cottage is well stocked, clean, & comfy. I ended up really appreciating the welcoming binder. Not only did it have info on how to operate the appliances, it had local suggestions as well as emergency numbers. We used that info, without having to scour the internet, to get medical assistance when one of the group became ill.

Very modern, cozy home where we felt right at home! Love that it is so close to major roads and towns - made it so convenient to get to and from. Communication from host could have been better as we still didn’t receive the code even though we arrived 2 hours after check in.

Enjoyed our stay in Terry’s lovely rural Co. Roscommon home. Everything was very comfortable. A nice base to explore parts of Ireland from. Terry was a great help with messaging directions down country roads.

This cottage is the perfect getaway location in rural Ireland and to see the sites in county Mayo and Sligo. Very well apppointed and clean! Would highly recommend!

This cottage! Spectacular views, beautiful, clean, modern interior with historical buildings on the property as well, comfortable beds, simple yet elegant! It made our 16 day stay in Ireland even more wonderful! It is within a two hour drive or less to many amazing sights in Ireland: the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara Way and the Cliff Baths, several castles, Lettergesh Beach, Sligo for larger city offerings and at least a hundred quaint, magical villages and towns. Within a 40 minute or less drive to Roscommon and Carrick on Shannon. And don’t forget all the local conveniences of Ballaghaderren! Make sure to go to the Brusna Inn for social dancing and to Spells Pub for some traditional music. I just can’t say enough great things about this glorious cottage!

The house was well supplied and everything went very smooth. Such a cute house and very clean, the surroundings were beautiful. Would rent again if coming back to Ireland. Loved it

Pretty property with far-reaching views but very close to amenities. We particularly enjoyed the private suntrap at the back, the cosy bedroom and excellent WIFI. Few additions would have made it even better for our personal preferences: place mats & coasters, sofa cushions and a fold up clothes dryer (most UK/EU clothes are not suitable for tumble drying!) Would stay again.
