This light filled loft has all the luxury feel of a Downtown Chicago loft with 10 foot ceilings, large windows and exposed brick! You will enjoy cooking in the brand new kitchen and cleanup is easy with a full sized dishwasher! Just steps from Hyperion Coffee, Sidetrack, Aubree’s pizza and so many other great spots! This loft is a brand new space set in a historic building that was originally a hotel in 1839, then barracks used for the civil war in 1862. Amazing history!

We were in the area for our daughter's graduation and this was the perfect place to relax and get a good night's sleep before we moved her out of her apartment the next day. There are restaurants, a food coop and a coffee shop within walking distance too!

This is our go-to place when visiting family in Ypsilanti. Walking distance to coffee places, restaurants, and a wonderful co-op. The loft is well-appointed and clean.

This is our second time staying here. The first was 2 years ago when it seems all the listing photos were taken. While things are still overall in good condition, I did notice a lot of wear and tear on the unit that has not been addressed. One of the dining chairs was broken in the laundry room. The washing machine made some struggling noises when used and when I cleaned the dryer lint trap it was WAY overfull. The bathroom had pink mold on the tile. Lots of scuff marks on the wall, and a fallen piece of art. I think if they want to keep charging for a premium rental they need to do some improvements. Aside from the unit itself, the check in process was easy, the location is excellent with great coffee shops and a food coop easily walkable.
