At your Witz End? Escape to the Lake!

Great place to stay.

This home was exactly what my family needed. The paddle boat and row boat were great for the kids. They did swim some but water was still chilly. There were lots of yard games and board games to use which was nice to keep them busy. My personal favorite was the 5 seasons room! We also loved that it was pet friendly. Host was very attentive and easy to get in contact with.

Hubby and I came up from down state for a week of peace. We brought one of our pups along. It was a glorious week! We started by doing absolutely nothing the first few days. Eventually we day tripped the 30-ish minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes. On the same day trip we decided to keep heading north to Leland, grabbed some lunch at The Bluebird and visited Fishtown. Still feeling adventurous, we continued north to Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Bringing us 1.5hrs back to the Cabin, windows open, fans on, happy pup awaiting, made for a great last evening. Witz End is on a fabulous location. It's close enough yet still just far enough away from everything! You can get to TC in 20mins, major tourist attractions in as little as 20-30mins or you can stay at the cabin and enjoy the watersports (water was too cool for us), fires, outdoor games or just RELAXING! It's such a beautiful location, we hope to be back!

Our family absolutely LOVED this property! Directions were easy to follow and close to many activities. Check-in and out was simple. Place was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms! Beautifully designed and decorated. Easily accommodated 6 adults. Washer and dryer made it easy to not come home with a suitcase full of dirty laundry. We enjoyed the lake somehow everyday, from morning and/or night fishing, floating around on the dock, or kayak races. Definitely recommend!
