WAVEFRONT BAMBOO GLAMPING PARADISE

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and overall our experience was amazing! The staff were very attentive and personable. We felt safe and secure on the property which put our minds at ease. We would absolutely book again if we were to revisit. Do not hesitate to book this tent if you're visiting Costa Rica!

I booked this tent as a retreat to rest and rejuvenate after a few years of grueling work. I needed quiet and to not be in a social, noisy hotel. I wanted a quiet village, not a bustling city. I got all of that together with the beauty of this ocean-side village and this rented tent. The co-hosts could not have been more helpful, friendly, and reassuringly a text away--they were so attentive. I would only note that unless you are driving everywhere in a rented car, you will want to be in somewhat decent fitness shape to walk to hills and rutted roads, climb stairs, etc. Again, I wanted all the exercise I could get, between walking the beaches and the village. We had an incredible experience all around. Cee and Mac arranged our transportation from the W hotel to the Tent and to the airport at 5 a.m. Beyond helpful. We arrived to their smiling faces and they gave us a tour and discribed the area, town, beaches and restaurants. The inside is even better than the pictures. Everything felt luxurious, as if it were a hotel. The shower was amazing with unlimited hot water. A regular toilet with refrigerator and toaster oven. The air-conditioning kept the place surprisingly cold without restrictions so we left it on the entire stay. The property was gated along with other amazing homes, so it felt safe. We woke-up to all kinds of nature sounds and rambuncious monkeys. We walked into town to buy water, snacks and alcohol. As well as to see the beaches. We ate at several places and everything was excellent, including the service. We walked home in the dark and it seemed like something in the movies, but we were safe. Some advice: Dont dress to fancy, relax and enjoy the natural essace of the town. One critique is that we wish there was local transportation to go to some of the other small nearby towns.
