1 day notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 150 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Sunny daze is a beautiful gem that is in a desirable and quiet neighborhood. The retro finishings and artwork matched the mid-century home perfectly. The home is spacious with all the amenities you could need. Our kids all enjoyed the pool and outdoor area for hours, morning to night. There’s plenty of seating inside and out. The neighborhood is quiet and you get beautiful mountain view’s. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating! We will definitely stay here again!

We recently booked Sunny Daze 335 for a short summer vacation trip for our girls and family. We didn't want to do a huge trip and wanted it to be close enough to home, so we opted for Palm Springs at the request of one of the girls. We absolutely fell in love with this place from the get when we arrived. Recently renovated and decorated, which is apparent right when you walk in, it was clear that a lot of thought went into making this space as welcoming and stylish as possible, from the bright and summery color scheme of the whole house, to the cute(the wife's word, not mine) furniture, to the wall decor. This home has Palm Springs vacation written all over it. We were a little nervous because everything looked so new and so pristine, but it sent a message that the owners really wanted to make this place an upscale yet welcoming space, so you feel very VIP-ish, yet comfortable at the same time.
As soon as you walk through the front gate, you are instantly transported to a summer resort. The pool is at the front of the property, which is perfect, because it is visible from the kitchen and living room of the house; the kids were able to get in and out of the pool while we could see them the entire time. Don't worry, the pool is fenced off on all sides, so no need to worry about privacy, or lack thereof. There are plenty of pool lounge chairs, as well as an outdoor table and furniture to boot...and our family really enjoyed just lounging around and playing in water. One thing to note is that it is a saltwater pool, so no heavy chlorine smell as you get in and out of the water.
The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, from coffee maker, toaster, to blender, pots, pans, and utensils...even to the rice cooker. Being us, we brought our own rice cooker because we didn't know there would be one there, but it's good to know we wouldn't need to bring one for next time.
Plenty of towels for both the pool and bath, which again made it feel like we were staying at a resort.
Overall, an extremely spacious home, with more than enough room for us; we never felt cramped, and just a nice place to get away.
Check-in was very simple, the instructions to get in were easy enough and the rules of the house are laid out plainly in the binder in the dining room, so any questions we had were answered right then and there. Checkout was just as easy and we were out just as quick as when we got in.
This spot is just a short drive from downtown PS if you want to go out to places like Sherman's Deli, or I Love Mac N Cheese, or just mill about and explore downtown. There's a grocery store about 5 minutes away and Costco about 15 minutes away so you can get everything you need in a jiff.
We would definitely come back for future stays. Thank you Sunny Daze-335!!

Overall we liked the house and would probably come back. The pool and spa were great for the kids. Biggest complaint we had was the noise from the busy road running behind the house. Cars and semi trucks are going by at 50+MPH just outside the bedrooms. We had to use white noise machines on our phones to drown out the noise.
While there we had a few maintenance issues that were never addressed. The main bathroom shower was not usable for the entire duration of our trip due to a clog. Plumber came out and diagnosed the issue, but never returned (parts availability I assume). There were a few other small issues (batteries for smoke detectors, spa remote batteries, etc.) that were never remedied by Vacasa, so we ended up buying our own.
The most disappointing thing was the lack of response from Vacasa. We’ve never experienced that in the past and hope this is not the norm.
