My husband and I have stayed in this same condo before, plus other rentals in the same building and we love the location. It’s wonderful to have such a great view of the ocean and close enough to walk to the shore. It is also within walking distance to many great restaurants.

The condo had a great location right on the boardwalk and a spectacular view. Sunsets were amazing. Property was very comfortable. Only issue was there could be more towels and toilet tissue left for use and maybe a few more fans since there are no ceiling fans in the condo and no AC. Overall, great experience.

We loved our stay in Mission Beach! The second-floor unit offered amazing views and extra privacy. It’s in a great location, walking distance to excellent restaurants. It was a bit warm at night with no AC or fan, and we had a minor ant issue in the kitchen. Staff offered help, but we handled it ourselves to maintain privacy. Overall, a great spot with just a few drawbacks

Home was as advertised and communicaiton with the management company was really good. Excellent location, great views of the beach/ocean. Overall great experience. Nice big parking spot in the garage, we got a smaller SUV but could have fit Suburban sized.

I love the view!!! The property is older and smells a bit older. We couldn’t get the front door open and waited 10 minutes between being on hold and getting a text on the trick to get the door open. If you don’t mind older and smaller, it really is an amazing beach view and steps to putting your feet in the ocean. Be prepared to find some sort of shower to rinse off because this building doesn’t have it! Overall, texting communication worked pretty well. :)

The unit had everything we needed and was perfect for us (a couple). It could work for a young family, but would be too crowded for 4 adults. We especially appreciated the garage parking. Most of all, we loved the 24/7 cool breeze coming off the ocean. We never shut the patio doors. We want to return next year!

I absolutely LOVED this location as it is sooo close to the water and the beach here is really nice to walk on. The place was very clean and the property manager is easily accessible and ready to please. Mission Beach is a fun place to visit!

The unit was perfect! It was absolutely spotless, very clean. The rental company left us a nice care package and was easy to reach when I had a question. Great location for everything, we enjoyed both the ocean and a quick walk to the bay side. The unit had comfortable beds, relaxing space, great views and all the amenities we could possibly need. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!

My wife and I were looking for a few days of beach therapy doing as little as possible - Success! This place was immaculately clean, well-stocked and furnished, perfectly located and accessible. We only have one complaint, but it’s kinda major: the balcony/patio picture on the listing shows a transparent railing. Actually, the railing is solid painted plywood that completely obstructs the view of the beach from inside the apartment or if seated on the balcony. Even though it was a great trip, if we had known this we would have likely made a different choice.

All good and as expected except the windows could have been cleaned. More police presence on the boardwalk would be nice, can’t believe there’s not some kind of noise ordinance after at least 10p. Had a group of kids shooting fireworks on the beach1030 Sunday night (10/8) after most people were in bed. Called the police and no response

We have been vacationing in San Diego for over 25 years. I can say, without a doubt that this is the absolute best place we have ever stayed at! If you are considering staying here you won’t be disappointed. We enjoyed our week so much we extended our stay an additional two days. The location and view were absolutely amazing. It was hard to want to leave to go anywhere - sitting and enjoying the view and ocean breeze from the balcony was endlessly enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved this rental and will absolutely stay here again!

All in all a great visit, except for weather. It was the coldest snap that San Diego had in a very long time. When we went to use the heater it did not work. (Who would expect to need the heater in San Diego!) The good news is that when we reported it to the property management company they were right on it and sent someone to fix it right away. The rest of the trip was great. The condo is spacious, has all the amenities, and the view is to die for. This is our second stay here and we will be back in the future.

Easy to book, and the apartment was as described. Neat and tidy with all of the handy amenities. Little Balcony is a superb place to relax, barbecue and watch the world go by or just watch nature, the beach and ocean, comfy beds, good linen, in airy bedrooms, clean bright bathroom, good sized clean shower, well equipped kitchen with an excellent cooktop and oven and a good sized fridge. The provided secure parking was very handy, given the extreme lack of street parking and distance to public parking. As this part of San Diego is very popular, particularly beach front properties, be prepared for crowds in summer and school holidays. Well worth booking if a beach front stay is of interest.

Just outstanding in every way. The property managers were in constant contact to insure everything was right, they gave recomendations for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner - spot on -with the recommendation for Moe's Steakhouse. Will certainy return within the next year. The only negative was the lousy weather we had the last two days - no fault of the property managers. Great views, great accommodations!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. We love the beach and this was perfect. Overall property (the building) is dated and needs upgrading. The location is perfect for beach access, nearby eateries that can be walked to. The parking garage is a nice perk and is secure and roomy. The condo itself is well equipped, nice furniture and comfortable bedding. The large ocean facing windows afford a great view of the water and people moving about. The housekeeping of the unit was adequate but the nice tile floors could have been cleaner. But remember, this is a beach environment and sand is EVERYWHERE! Overall, we give this vacation home high marks.

Great rental experience. It was nice being so close to the beach. Just walk down the stairs and you’re there. Nice morning walks on the boardwalk. Within walking distance of morning coffee shop and some restaurants. We didn’t even rent a car, just took Uber a couple times. The listing is accurate to the space. Kitchen is stocked really well. Check in process was so easy. Communication was great! The only things it didn’t have, that I wish it would have were some beach chairs, umbrella, and a boogie board or two. We ended up buying some to make or more enjoyable. A broom in the house would have also been nice to be able to sweep up some of the sand that got in even though we tried not to bring it in. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Check in and initial parking was rocky at best. I was expecting some bumps being this was our first experience staying beach side. 1. Check in should of been simple, enter code on key pad to reveal key. With said key, unlock door. Would've been easy if there was a key in the key pad lock. No, we got it opened to find it empty. So I call the phone # listed and they were very pleasant. Sent someone immediately to open the door with master key. We then found the door key was left inside the unit along with the garage remote. Not sure how whomever left it there thought that would help. I made sure to leave the key in the lock pad when we checked out. 2. The parking!! Reason I chose this unit was the private gated garage with assigned space for parking. This would've been awesome if I could get the remote given to open the garage. Nope, drove around multiple times, even got out of the car and the garage would not budge. So again I contact the vacation rental #. They answered immediately and after a few minutes remedy my problem by assigning me to park in the "vendor" spot for the whole time of my stay. I did not mind this since the unit I stayed in was right next to the parking spot. I could easily get in and out with no trouble. Other than these 2 issues, the rest of our stay was perfect. Loved the location right on the beach and being so close to everything. The customer service was the best I have ever had. Considering how many times I had to call, they always treated me with respect and were pleasant to speak with. Would definitely stay here again if we return to mission beach vacay.
