Family Home w/ Game Room, WiFi, Fireplace, Private Hot Tub - Walk to Beach

A perfect place to have a family Christmas get together! Plenty of space for 8 people, plenty to keep us occupied when the weather was not the best and plenty of kitchen dishes to have a wonderful Christmas dinner! We are local but this worked great for all my kids! We plan to come back in the summer for a week!

I knew this going in, so this is not a criticism, just very sore leg muscles. Didn't realize how much I would be needing to go up and down. This was a nice place with lots of space and with the TV and game room in the garage it was great for all the kids we had.

Loved the neighborhood and how close the home was to the beach.

We had a great time! From ages 10 mo to 85 years! The place was WELL equiped with everything you need! Baby beds, high chairs, beds wete very comfortable, good space, sound did not travel, good parking for 6 cars, short walk to beach, although i expectedi expected i exoected a bit

This house has a good walk to the beach. We enjoyed the living and dining areas for our large group, as well as the spacious deck and roomy hot tub. The upstairs and main floor beds were comfy, but the downstairs bunks and trundles were so uncomfortable that people were upset and miserable. The washer, refrigerator and microwave need to be repaired, but I’m sure that will be done soon. Overall, a good location and house.

Very big place was able to accommodate us with plenty of space extra. Big parking lot aswell. The beach was near by aswell . Very pleasant stay

This was one of my best choices of a house to stay at. My kids loved and enjoyed the property to run and play. Super close to the beach for us to walk to. ALL beds were so comfortable. This house had everything we needed, from toys, pack and play, high chair, gates for my little one, hot tub was so nice and we none stop played pool. ENJOYED everything about this house. Thank you so much

It was amazing and we had so much fun! The décor was delightful! We loved the hot tub! The walk to the beach was super fun and easy to access. It was also fun to see the dear roaming around. The beds were comfortable and I was told by someone in our party that it was the best sleep they had had in days. There was plenty of room for everyone who came.

I love the rooms are catered towards kids, books games, etc. nice house for kids not for adults.

Had a good stay. The house did seem to be decently clean. However, there is a security alarm and it spoke alerts when doors were opened etc. I reached out and they said they could come look at it but I didn’t want people intruding my stay. The kitchen is reasonably stocked but it is small. However a good set of measuring cups would be good and maybe a couple mixing bowls. There is a gas grill on the porch but it is badly in need of a deep clean.

Great spot to gather with family and friends. Lots of great rooms, good open kitchen and living room. Large deck and a quick walk to the beach. Lots of stairs, so consider that if you have family with mobility issues.

Overall the home was charming and had a decent layout for our group. Upon arrival we were greeted by a doe & fawn, so cool! Beach was less than a 5 minute walk away. Only complaint was cell reception was awful, even when connected to WiFi

None of our phones had reception to dial out or have internet service even when connected to WiFi.

The house was just right for our large family gathering. It felt secluded and spacious, with an easy, pleasant 3-minute walk to a beautiful beach. We would definitely recommend it and return.

Home was clean and comfortable. It was equipped with everything, 4 entrances onto home and path right next to house that went to beach. Will definitely stay again ❤️❤️❤️

Pros— spacious, enough room for everyone. Short walk to the beach. Clean. The kids loved the game room with pool and ping pong. Great wrap around deck with hammock. Plenty of towels for whole house. Cons— Lower bathtub doesn’t drain. No lock on lower bathroom. Downstairs cold. There’s unfortunately no heaters downstairs and for the majority of the stay it was rather cold. You cannot adjust the temperature to get to where you need it to be on the main floor thermostat. If you do adjust it just goes back to a locked in temperature. Main floor bedroom TV does not connect to WI-FI so you can’t watch it unless you bring a DVD player. Not enough blankets in residence. All in all it was a pleasant stay. I recommend bringing a portable heater during cold season.

Great location and a very nice place, but wifi was out on Friday and we could not get the fireplace to work at all. It is NOT a beach view except from one small bedroom upstairs. The lower bedrooms leave a lot to be desired to sleep 5 in a room. Tub was great and all generally was good!

Well-stocked kitchen, so many towels, so many rooms, lovely path to the beach, jacuzzi tub, hot tub with more towels! It’s so beautifully furnished and decorated. You feel right at home. If you can’t find something in the kitchen, be sure to check right around the corner in the little pantry closet, it’s probably there. Loved it! Will stay here again!

Comfortable, relaxing, perfectly appointed. Everything we could of asked for. The only thing I could suggest is a cheat sheet for all of us old foggies on how to use the equipment like the Tv's and ovens. Some aren't as computer savvy as the youngsters are LOL

Huge 3 level house with so much to do. 1 minute drive to the beach that has a section for parking. Very close drive to Safeway if you needed anything. Very relaxing trip.

House has great family areas, private hot tub, and was only an easy 3 minute walk from an awesome beach. The hosts were very accommodating and made our stay as a family so great. We can’t wait to go back again!

It’s a great house, the pool table in the garage needs lighting to really even be usable which was a bummer as we looked forward to using that. Also the upstairs shower use resulted in water leaking to downstairs so we were not able to use that shower for the duration of our stay which was rough with 6 adults sharing the remaining 2 showers.

This home is equipped with everything you could need and more for your getaway! Its beautiful inside. No shortage of towels, bedding, dishes, and any other things you could need. The hot tub is awesome. The huge wrap around porch with hammock was so relaxing. One thing I appreciated is TV's in almost all rooms. Windows everywhere to open for fresh air! Lovely wood flooring. I think I slept better in this bed than my own! The owners really thought of everything and didn't leave anything out. Perfect for a family trip (or girls getaway in my case)!

We loved the house and it was beautifully equipped and is a great space for a big family. The only issue is it was really hot and there were no fans. The vacuum didn’t work, needs grill tools, and a pool ball rack. Great location and great house, just hot in the summer without fans.

This 5 bedroom house is perfect to bring in your extended family. We had enough beds, tv's and puzzles to go around! Super close to the beach where we spent a lot of time. Lots of seating for both inside and outside for meals. Oh and a piano to keep it lively

Blue Anchor is a very clean 3 story home with a coastal-inspired ambience! My husband and I were invited and treated to 4 days in this favorite Lincoln City area known as “Roads End.” I was immediately struck by the thought that this home would be an awesome place for our own family of 13 to spend time. The well-equipped, full kitchen has plenty of cupboards and drawers and it sports every essential stainless steel appliance, dishes and cutlery and pots and pans. The huge dining table is more than ample for a family of 13 to dine. You can see the ocean from the dining room. Blue Anchor has a porch on three sides. I barbecued (gas grill) while we were there and there are several chairs on every side of the porch on which to relax. One could spend hours on the porch playing games, listening to the birds and admiring the huge and very beautiful rhododendrons whilst simultaneously drinking in the fragrance of the salt water. The living room has beautiful and very new appearing comfortable sectionals. Everyone can put their feet up and there are teo cloth boards on the large coffee table for chess and checkers! The living room sports a gas fireplace and a large flat TV screen. There is WiFi! There is a flat screen in every bedroom and I thought the bunk beds were much larger than twin bed size. Each bedroom has a theme. There is a new and large hot tub which we did not use because we are seniors and the weather was not warm. We were thrilled that we did not have rain however so we felt we had scored! There are towels and yes, a new washer and dryer available. Now if this isn’t enough, this Blue Anchor gem has a game room filled with games and puzzles. You can find books to read throughout the home. In addition, the garage has been converted and sports both a pool table and a ping pong table. My hubby walked effortlessly several times to the beach from the Blue Anchor and within about 5 minutes. I have difficulty walking and use a walker. There is a handicap ramp to the beach down the road a few minutes at the Chinook Winds Native American Casino. I was able to climb the three flights of stairs at the Blue Anchor using the hand rail(s) and a cane. Also within 3 miles is a Safeway and Lincoln City has every amenity! Sleeping is easy in this home away from home and I have never slept as sound in any bed other than my own bed until we came to the Blue Anchor! I never have slept well in a hotel bed. As guests we were given the choice of where we wanted to sleep and I did choose the master suite with the en suite bathroom with easy accessibility into a wonderful shower with great water pressure. And there is a jetted bathtub too! I am tall and the toilets throughout the home vary in height. None are full handicap height and the one in the master is of medium height. I made the suggestion that ADA grab bars on both sides of the toilet and in the shower would allow Blue Anchor to be really safe for people with limited mobility and other disabilities. After all where children and “Grand” children go a grandparent may not be far behind! Before I leave the master suite, note there is a desk and yes with a flat screen for your computer to hook up! This delightful and charming gem of a beach home – your home away from home -- has it ALL – Beach, Location, Partial Ocean View, and Location! Thank You for inviting us and we certainly enjoyed ourselves!

It was so nice & spacious. It was really comfortable & located it a great location. Though what was important to me was seeing my family, I was able to see them in a great location. With nice stores & places to eat. And location was very relaxing, yeah I had a great experience!

The television areas in the living room and bonus room are very relaxing. The wide porch area on three sides of the house, with a number of chairs and tables are a great outdoor space, not to mention the hot tub!

One thing I don't think I have ever found in another vacation rental is the large pantry closet by the kitchen. We did not have to crowd the kitchen counters with our food!

There are televisions in the living room, the bonus room and almost every bedroom. The wifi is free for everyone's use. The pool room in the garage area has both a pool table and a ping pong table.

There are games that can be played on the beach. There are colorful sand chairs to take to the beach. We strapped the chairs on our back, and walked down the short trail next to the property for a relaxing time at the beach.

When first walking in the home, it was very clean. We also noticed how spacious it was, and can sleep a lot of people. It slept my party of 12 comfortably, and we still had plenty of room for more. Within 5 minutes of walking in the house, we heard a very loud drop from upstairs that frightened us. When we went to go look, in one of the upstairs rooms their is a door to a crawl space that fell over. Their was also no way to put it back on, so we had to move the dresser in front of it to help block the door from falling again. Then in the bedroom on the main floor there was a panel under the jetted tub to look at the piping, that would constantly fall over too. This gave away that this was an older home. This home did have a lot of good bonuses. Every room came with large plush blanket to sleep with, we all loved these. The hot tub and jetted tub was awesome. Play room was in the garage which was in a separate detached part of the house. This was a fun space, but since we had mostly rain during our weekend we didn’t utilize it as much because we didn’t want to walk outside and down the wet stairs to get to it. Also, on top of the detached garage is a bonus private room and bathroom that was not included in the details or pictures on the website. We called Vacasa to see if we are allowed to use the room, and they said they also didn’t know about it and didn’t see any reason we can’t use it, so we did! This just added on to how this home sleeps a lot of people. Now the main reason I am not giving this home 5 stars is because I do not recommend this home for older or elderly people. This home has wood floors and is 3 stories, which we knew about, but we didn’t realize how many slips and falls we would have. The carpets on the main floor are not securely on the floor so we had multiple slips on those. It was also unfortunate that we had 2 people in my group fall going down the stairs. The outside walkway to go to the front door is stairs filled with small rocks, this was also difficult to walk up and down. My group had ages range from 25-40 so luckily when anyone fell they were not injured too badly, but I can’t imagine if anyone older fell. Someone could really hurt themselves if they aren’t careful.
