This unique oceanfront property is situated on the edge of a bluff providing spectacular views of the blue Pacific and the entire Poipu coastline from each unit. This small property has only 15 units, providing privacy and intimacy while being just a short walk to the world renowned Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach. The sounds of the sea fill every room and each unit has full length lanais offering a great lookout for hours of watching turtles, dolphins, seasonal whales and brilliant sunsets.

PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.
The Parrish Collection is a locally owned and based real estate management company that specializes in vacation rentals on Kauai and Maui. This was a beautiful and convenient location for our family. Although we didn't see any turtles while we were there we loved having coffee with the beautiful view each morning. Place was very clean and hosts were extremely easy to communicate with when we had questions.

Even though the unit was slightly later than 3 to check in, we were greeted to a place with air/lights/and fans on, Hawaiian music playing, and everything warm and inviting. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with all we needed, even a Britta filter and ice packs for picnicking, as well as shower supplies. There were beach toys and umbrellas for use. Everything was bright and clean, very welcoming. With a beautiful view of the ocean and nightly sunsets, we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Poipu Makai D1 for 9 nights as a family of four on our first trip to Kauai, and we couldn't have asked for a better home base. From the moment we arrived, the condo exceeded our expectations in every way.The location is unbeatable — centrally situated on the South Shore with easy access to Poipu Beach, Old Koloa Town, Spouting Horn, and everything in between. Whether we were heading out for an early morning raft tour or returning from a full day at Waimea Canyon, the condo felt perfectly positioned for everything on our itinerary.The space itself was immaculate — clean, well-appointed, and comfortable for four people throughout a busy activity-packed trip. The lanai quickly became our favorite spot — morning mimosas, evening recaps, and just soaking in the sounds of Kauai. The washer and dryer were a genuine bonus for a longer stay, and the kitchen had everything we needed.Parrish Kauai was easy to work with and the check-in process was seamless. We never felt like anything was missing.

The decor and the ocean view was five star. The accessibility of the property was a problem especially for people with difficulty on stairs. There was no way for a person in a wheelchair or walker to access the property. This should be clearly disclosed. The parking was challenging and not always available. The beds were uncomfortable.
