A beautiful home and gardens situated in the Scottish countryside. The space was wonderful and the hosts gracious. Would come back to Silverstripe in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our stay at Silverstripe! We were met by our delightful host Laurence with a welcoming slice of homemade coconut cake. We'd been looking for a quiet country cottage to unwind, and Silverstripe fit the bill perfectly. The guest section is beautifully appointed. The cozy bedroom was in a stone corner of the building, with a wood burner that made us wish we were visiting in winter. Our delicious, perfectly prepared home cooked breakfast was made with locally sourced produced and included homemade bread. The huge bathroom featured a clawfoot bathtub and traditional fittings. We relaxed with our tea in the gorgeous sunroom, taking in the country view.
Silverstripe was exactly what we were hoping for, a quiet, country getaway. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to get away from it all in a cozy country cottage.

An accommodation that we are very happy to recommend. Everything was right. A very warm welcome, attentive and friendly hosts, lovingly designed rooms, quiet surroundings in the middle of nature and an excellent, freshly prepared breakfast.
