Glamping Bothie

Location is very private despite being on the Castle estate. Easy access to the surrounding villages and Inverurie if you want to head out for things to do. The Bothie itself is beautifullu presented and just had a great atmosphere on both occasions we've visited.

Loved everything. Location was lovely and quiet. Torches were supplied for walking in the dark. Thought of everything including a little map of the area for walking the dog. No tv, no wifi just total switch off. There is good signal for calls. It didn't bother us as not need but there is no cooker. This is a stove, kettle and fridge. Perfect for a couple days stay. When we arrived we got the message directing us. We saw the first sign but for the little lane the cottage is on, a sign is needed there as we went too far up the road. It's just a lovely cottage and I would go back again. The person I was contacting was lovely. Would 100% recommend.

We went over Christmas and was so lovely but it wasn't until we were packing up we realized there was a small Christmas tree. Would have put it up if we had known. Really.... That's all I have to say. I just loved it.

Me and my beloved loved our time here it was the best unplugged weekend! Highly recommended! The staff were exceptional! Would come again!

Great location, fabulous concept, and total tranquility. We weren’t in the property during the day, just late evenings and overnight. Plenty of hot water, a fridge, microwave, kettle and hob too. A great wood burner too if you get chilly.

Disappointingly, the properties interior is looking shabby, and unloved in places. The sofa covers need to be washed and It really does need a deep clean too. Cobwebs, dust and dirt detract from the great offering this could be. Such a shame, as it really is an amazing spot. I fed back my comments to the property manager and he said he will address the issues, but still charged £300 for two nights. To be fair, had the property been spotless and the tatty bits sorted, it is well worth £150 a night.
