Recently renovated for the 2024 season with new living room furniture, new kitchen flooring, new stainless steel fridge, new washer and dryer, and fresh paint!
The Galleon blends a rare and unbeatable location with old-world charm that is still seen on the Southern Beaches of the Outer Banks. With bedding upgrades (2024) and new deck furniture (2022), the Galleon has everything you need regardless of what season you visit. The Crow's Nest is equipped with ample seating and is large enough to enjoy your morning coffee or maybe evening cocktails while taking in the salt air and feeling the cool ocean breezes. Get up early, take a stroll on the beach, and experience a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise over the Atlantic. Not only can the sight and sounds of the crashing waves be captivating and almost mesmerizing, but the crow's nest also provides a special and unique "bird's eye view" of Nags Head's coastline. Located directly across from the ocean/beach access, there is no doubt why this home remains a guest favorite. With the proximity to the beach coupled with the ability to walk to some of the best Outer Banks restaurants, this spot is sure to please and has something for everyone.
Though this home caters to the Beach Lover, if you find yourself needing a break from the sun and sand, there are plenty of activities nearby to keep everyone busy. Immerse yourself in the rich North Carolina history at the Wright Brothers Memorial or feel like you are on top of the world at the highest point of Jockeys Ridge. If you have a fisherman in the group, head down to The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. House was clean and tidy. We opted for the linen package and they were all wrapped and conveniently placed in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen was well appointed with lots of plates, mugs and utensils. 1 block away from the ocean and within easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and groceries, the location was perfect. Only negative remark was the bed was a creaky spring mattress which was uncomfortable.

We absolutely loved to location! My family really loved the cornhole boards & hot tub!! Beds were not super comfortable & kitchen supplies could use some updating but overall, we loved this vacation home & would rent it again

We had a great time. House was great location, accurate listing. Check in was initially difficult due to a miscommunication, but the property manager took care of the problem very quickly.
