The main lodge at the ski resort is less than 3 miles. The 18-hole Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club and the new Wilderness Run Alpine roller coaster are less than 3 miles. Grandfather Mountain and its popular Profile hiking trails are less than 4 miles. The Shoppes at Tynecastle, including restaurants, a grocery store, an ABC store, coffee shops, and numerous other conveniences, is also less than 4 miles.
Downtown Banner Elk is about 5 miles away. Seven Devils and Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines Park is only 9 miles. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is 11 miles. Skyleaf on Sugar is a two-level end-unit townhome with an open upper/main floor offering an open Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen. A central floating fireplace separates the Living Room and Dining Room. A central Kitchen island with a custom-crafted, live edge wood bar top divides the Kitchen and Dining Room. Reclaimed and Live Edge wood features throughout the interior give Skyleaf a warm, rustic character, bringing the "outdoors in!" A covered rear deck offers more custom and comfy lounging and faces picturesque mountain views.
The lower level features a master bedroom suite with a King bed, HD Smart TV, and private ensuite master bathroom. Glass doors lead out onto a lower porch with exterior steps down to the rear yard area. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and an HD Smart TV. The bunk bedroom offers two Twin-over-Twin bunk beds, a comfy loveseat, and an HD Smart TV. a full hallway bathroom serves both the Bunk bedroom and the Queen bedroom.
